Armadon is probably my favorite of all the beasts overall. He is good and noble like Blizzard, and wants peace and tranquility for New Urth. And he accomplishes that in his ending!

Armadon is a worthy PR character as a Stryracosaurus standing on two legs, but I feel that they would’ve also added a Stegosaurus- like character in this game. That character would fight in a way like Armadon does.
So satisfying to finally find someone who actually knows how to play this game. I was a beast with Armadon, Sauron and Diablo back in the day. Its good to hear that thunder again. I would love to see another Primal Rage using the same stop motion animation techniques but with high quality models and 4k resolution images.
Maybe In a state of Emergency. that one Herbivorous Dinosaur ate the human meat Solely to help with the Final battle. After that. I bet Armadon puked out all the meat that he ate. Probably made him pretty sick. But at least that nightmare was over for Armadon.
I kind of wonder what animal sounds went into making the sounds for the Gods of New Urth. I suspect that it was just some dude making hoarse voices for Chaos, a mountain lion for Blizzard, but I can't place Talon's, Vertigo's, Sauron's and some of Armadon's sounds. I've heard the victory bellow from Armadon on several other fictional creatures of massive sizes, but I can't identify what animal specifically. I also can't place Armadon's death cry, but I do know where that yelp of pain comes from (the one where he's taking critical damage and sometimes sent flying). That one's an elephant trumpet (not the full trumpet, but when they are lightly blowing out of it...making it sound rather strangulated). *Edit Turns out, the victory bellow and various grunts, and that rattle he makes when he's grabbed (or gut-gouged) are from camels. I'm not 100% confident on this one, but maybe his death cry is yet another camel bellow...

Good playthrough, but I have a question. Does anyone know how to get Primal Rage to run the MAME emulator? Because I cannot get it to run at all, I keep getting an error message that there is one or more ROM/CHD files missing. I looked online and nothing, except Primal Rage 2. In the emulator, the overall says "Unemulated Protection." Anybody got a solution to fix this problem?
Unfortunately, there is no way you can get it to run perfectly. Primal rage has an extremely unusual security privilege that no one has been able to crack. That's why you see the characters not properly fall on the ground and some of the blood is the glitchy yellow color.
The character with the best defense due to his heavy armor and sharp spikes, although it also makes him fairly slow. But he has great offensive moves and can kick some major ass if he wants to!

I think that the game is insulting the fighter who blocks too much instead of attacking. In Street Fighter Alpha 2 if you defeat an opponent who is blocking the victory icon is a cheese.

+music4ever1981 The cheefe appears when you do a sequence of moves and / or buttons tha the game considers that it will lock whos is defending / taking the combo in a unavoidable sequence, so it cancels the attacks to make it fair to who's on defense. Basically, in this case, it means the game cancels the combos because who is on defensive could not counter in any way, so it opens a window to counter
I wanna see this game recreated in modern day graphics
Or just released on newer consoles. There is a certain charm to the older graphics. However, a new installment would be cool...
