The Story.
I wrote this EP back in October of 2023. The first aim was to write deep house but in this EP, what evolved was more of a fusion of organic, deep and melodic house. It felt natural to go with the flow and let the songs be what sounded and felt good to me at the time.
I live for freedom and following the heart first so it felt natural to approach my music the same way. As a professional DJ for the last 30 years, I loved to spin anything from soulful house to minimal techno according to the club I was playing at.
Admittedly in the early days I could not resist the temptation to push musical boundaries and I often lost DJ work and sometimes got insulted as a result. I remained committed to my deepness and uniqueness though and as the years passed by, I only got paid to go deep in the many cities I played.
I have remained a frustration for those seeking to pigeon pole my style. A testament to my place in the music industry, I have recently signed music to such varied labels as Lucidflow to Dirtybird, Deepwit to Plastic City and more.
