I have to say, I have been silently watching your road to 2500 cards streams, while playing my own shop as well. Opening packs, tabbing away to your stream, while the 8 packs just continue opening in the background. It has been a very relaxing thing to do in my late evening. I always find it fascinating to see people optimizing in games like this. When I discovered myself after a couple of in-game days that opening packs actually gained me XP, my first instinct was to see how much XP I would get per pack. I saw it varied, so then I wondered why. It was quite obviously depending on the rarity of the cards you pulled. So I made a list for myself to see how much XP you get for each type of card. (basic - 1XP, 1st ed - 2XP, silver - 6XP, gold - 8XP, EX - 15XP, full art - 18XP.) Then I noticed that foil cards gave 8x the XP of the non-foil versions (for basic and 1st ed). So I wanted to check that for the rest. And it still held up. The only thing that surprised me was that a ghost card only gave 6XP, which was weird, knowing that that is the same amount as a silver non-foil card, but them being waaaayyyyy rarer to pull. I expected something like 25XP or so. I still haven't been able to check if a foil ghost indeed gives 48 XP, as the only ghost foil I pulled was in my 2nd box of 32 basic packs >,< Anyway, it is good to know how I can optimize XP gain, if I would need it. But I rather like playing very sub-optimal and have as many products as I can, quite a few tables, and go back to selling singles as well. I stopped that for a while, because I realized way too late that if you want to get the card collecting objectives, it's not enough to have had the card at one point. You actually need to have them. I recently reached 1500 cards, so I have a long way to go.
After watching LoddZ's first vid, I finally bit the bullet and removed my final 4 play tables and replaced them with two of the long short shelves full of Red Destiny packs. I still have every item in stock...but that one change made an insane difference in my profits and XP...it was crazy. Wish I had done that sooner.
I'm hitting 40k xp once in a while with the one item method. It ranges from 32k-40k, but I'm guessing that's from the customers prioritizing the 7 empty slots and the 1 item I stock as the 8th, and after checking for other items on the list, they leave before checking for my 1 item, which is why it lowballs to 32k.
@@KeldorGaming makes a lot of sense. Thank you for the response. The other question I had was regarding the prices. Isn't it worth rounding down the prices so the check out is faster with less change?
It's a few reasons. The biggest one is that they stay relatively well stocked even when customers get a "max roll", so the shelves are *almost* never empty, so if another customer happens to check the same shelf they aren't left with nothing left to grab
@@POWERPRIME01 believe it or not, booster boxes are also treated the same way lol but since they can only have a max of 8 on a shelf you cant see any crazy grabs like you can with other items
@@KeldorGaming Oh, it's not just the single packs that avoid the halving in the calc, but the decks and boxes too? Time to update my Python script. (It does qualitatively match what I've seen from the amount of decks purchased) (Also decks would technically benefit slightly from the wide shelves. I don't think the packs would, as you're already hitting the items per single grab limit)
@@doomedwit1010 If it's just the amount of money and you're -20%, aren't they capped at 13 items anyway? Thus removing the pathing complexity from stockers would be ideal. I've had to start over cause lot B pathing messed up my stockers pretty bad and I found them just sitting in there with boxes in hand.
@philtayler6455 @fallenone4108 shop lot B only affects how much money customers have (therefore able to buy more), it does not affect how many customers can spawn. They aren't capped to 13, they can only take 13 at a time from one shelf. They can still take from more shelves afterwards. Blocking off shop lot B doesn't affect the pathfinding as much as you think it does, they can pathfind to the warehouse shelves through the main store pretty easily and it's faster since there's less walking time going around the shelves.
You rather have high xp gain then money 😂. Anyway if i was in a rush i might do this. i see no point in rushing in this game. All you benefit after this is everything unlocked and maxed level. plus doing that makes me board after. Nothing to earn to get or unlock. Plus i wonder if the level cap will ever change. Or if we will see half if not all what the thier moble game has. if so then it may be endless in levels.
Oh Keldor! Another pro gaming tip: you can flip the sign from the outside

"A Pineapple Emoji". I know that's not what you meant, but that's what you said.

Does putting the trash can where the display cabinet is, not prevent employees from going behind shelves?
Its placement box is a little too wide for my liking, i want to have the storage shelves as close to the product as possible
I don't understand why they design the shelf collision boxes like this. When every simulator game I've play doesn't do that.

yes!

🍍Love your content...Thanks for the great info.
what happened to all of the boxes
is it better to use the small cabinets than the wide shelves? Is it because of space to organize the setup?
Saves space, plus since we're not selling booster boxes the Small Cabinets work just fine for smaller unit items like card packs

there is no official mobile version of this game, you're playing a rip-off of this game

What is the reasoning behind those specific items?
It's a few reasons. The biggest one is that they stay relatively well stocked even when customers get a "max roll", so the shelves are *almost* never empty, so if another customer happens to check the same shelf they aren't left with nothing left to grab
So why sell starter decks? Instead of comic books or playmats.
I believe it's because any item that's classified as a "booster pack", which for some reason includes the decks, sell more per customer
@@KeldorGaming oh didn’t know know decks where in that classification.

How do I even give a customer $-10.52 I think I broke the game somehow
i’m lvl 40 doing the 8 item method, should i switch to the one item until lvl 60?
if it's working for you probably not worth changing anything

If xp is the goal would it be more optimal to not have lot b?
Unlocking lot B/making it bigger adds to how much money customers have.
