Fun fact about Arya’s Dagger:
You can control which side you teleport to. Left and special puts you to the left of your opponent, right and special puts you on the right.
Edit: This character is absolutely sick, but yes, she suffers really hard in certain matchups. Shaggy jab punch goes farther than Arya’s jab sword swing and it will always bother me.
Controlling which side you teleport to is important because hitting their back has more hit stun
Shaggy jab beats like the whole cast lol, and the fact he can go into jab jab2 reverse up tilt up special whenever he wants makes him an absolute menace
I didn't know this I will be absolutely implementing this, thank you! I really hope in the mid-season patch they buff her range, some of the stuff I've been outranged by is ridiculous.

Arya is insane. I did the same thing and didn't touch her for a while and then went on an absolute tear with her last week. She's awesome!

Arya feels like one of the best characters while also feeling like one of the worst. When she works she feels like a low S tier, but whenever you miss a ladder combo and your attacks phase through people, she feels like low A tier. Imo, PFG needs to fix Arya's hitboxes.

@@Draggzilla sure, this happens to all characters, but arya is the worst case.
Since up special is a ladder combo starter while not having k.o potential, up attack being inconsistent hurts her strength. up special into forward air is also inconsistent, sometimes you gotta jump to hit it.
Point is, she feels a little clunky and since other characters have more freedom with ladder k.o's, up special strings not connecting makes her feel worse.

After up special u can jump then use gravity cancel jab. Also after up special u can dash up up air and it drags them closer to the blast zone.

@Lost111 it's the dodge attacking, so he's saying if you dodge upwards and use up air to cancel the dodge, you'll bring them closer to the ceiling. Also I'm pretty sure gravity cancel is similar, so I think he's referring to jabbing on the platform you make. Hope this helps friend 👍 hope you enjoy arya she is super fun

Arya is my main till they buff lebron or come out wit static shock shes GOATED. Her Sair, her down attack, her dagger plus having armor break for side special spammin wonder womans i love it.

I main Arya but beta Multiversus was much faster for attack speed and full game for sure slowed her down so timing and internet speed is necessary. She's good for CQC once you get comfortable and characters with projectiles will always be trick for Arya to win.

5:00 Yeah, this is my number one complaint about Townsville, more than Mojo Jojo, the blast zones are just waaay too small for a 4 person game.
Arya's always felt good even in the beta i just dont play her because the up special feels really broken and kinda ruins the fun for me

Actually if you play well your neutral arya is good horinzontaly with things like her smash her dtilt , nair dagger to engage if it hits and even utilt

Make can actually go into up special and sometimes the roll, then sometimes you can dodge in to continue the combo. It’s not true but it can happen
Arya's a lot of fun. She has really strong ground moves.

Despite Arya lacking kill power, she makes up for it by having some of the most insane combo chains in the game that can kill characters really early.
Noticing none of the certified good players are using Garnet. I wonder why
I could be wrong but whenever you start a new character, they have there own mmr so it takes like an hour or 2 before you fight people that are good with there character. It was like that in the beta as well I believe

I mainly play duos because they are fun and the most difficult comp I’ve had to face is an Arya+Joker. 2 great characters and giving Arya Joker’s moves guaranteed led to a lot of strong combos or mix ups

How did he turn off team colors?
Go to settings and then click on interface, it shows everything there with colors
little glitch with arya im sure will be patched is when arya doges straight up then straight after facesteals she floats. Can be a great recovery.
On taz her neutral strong does so much to space him out because she pulls her hurt box back first and the disjointed hitbox reaches far

Finn’s not broken at all imo. His only problematic move is the backpack. It can ko at extremely low % if he gets you high enough
