Nice drive n tour Arlin. Watching from the U.S. Bekwarra, the next LG to Ogoja is my hometown. Though not as upbeat as Ogoja. However, I've driven to Ogoja severally, n I just love the ambience. Also, for these who want to invest in agro based ventures, there are lots of opportunities there.
Did my NYSC here in 2004. Practically run by Catholics. I hope they now have a functional radio station. Back then, we only received casmo FM Enugu signals clearly.
Please dont forget the driving videos, the road trip to places is more important than the destination to me.😅Ogoja is a clear example of why local government should be responsible for development. You can't expect a government in calabar, over 4 hours drive away to know the state of the roads and what the people in ogoja need.Every town should have something like Ogoja development agency, whos duty is the town infrastructural development. The locals know their town better, they are from the place, will be more motivated to fixing it and making it look the best. That main road should be dualised by now with tree lined walkways. It's a shame how a country like Nigeria does everything to her own detriment on purpose instead of progress.Thank you.
Me too, my dear. When I have the chance to come from medical school, instead of stopping at Yahe, I go all the way to Ogoja, before going through Okuku to Okpoma. I just love Ogoja: Joepal, Ishibori, Igoli, etc
The road hasn't changed since the last time I visited, a lot needs to be done especially in the aspect of their road. It's quite painful, but still remain one of my favorite.
