Hold back + QP. If your opponent hits you with a standing high Medium or Fierce normal attack, you'll parry the attack. If you're quick, you can then pull a 3-hit rush attack (in Jago's case Windkick) into an autodouble.
great gameplay and my favorite character in the killer instinct franchise but gosh the AI computer in this game is so cheap and is hard to beat him even on the extra easy difficulty

They downgrade jago moveset in ki3. reversed jago windkick controls took away is slide in ki3 and made combo breaking hard to read, guess which button to break combos..1 light, 2 medium, 3 heavy. Wish they narrowed combo breaking to two options, to see if you guessed right or wrong, or give the option to put in move input to combobreak

both KI1 & 2 were crazy far ahead of it's time. so advanced & polished to be SNES & N64 games. it's too bad KI3 failed so miserably.
