The finals gives me a lot of vibes to the battle royale that ubisoft created in 2020, Hyperscape, and I like that, since in my opinion, it was a good game with a lot of potential, and the finals seems to be like a very improved, with excelent mechanics and, in my opinion, an spiritual successor of that game.

But on the other hand we have the finals, which I feel like is an alternative vision of "what if, Hyperscape has been a good game"
I definitely also get hyperscape vibes. Hyperscape was trying to break into a genre that had a lot of solid options already, whereas this feels more like it’s competing with the likes of CoD MP, BF2042, Halo Infinite. These franchises are all in a bad way, even with BF’s recent uptick, so I hope this one can cement itself.

LOVE the finals, been grinding in every beta test so far! little hint: turn on "use enemy team colours" (or something similar, i can't remember the exact name) in the settings. it'll change the enemies name/outline to their respective team colour instead of the default red. makes it easier to track what's going on in a fight, or who you need to kill to wipe a team. keep it up handler, good vibes only x
I wouldn't bank on it, it seems that its very MK heavy so the controller noobs won't like it very much. I hope they don't make changes that favor the dogs and ideally make them play on MK to enjoy it. Who's to say tho, this was the case at the start of Apex and look at it now 82% of the playerbase is an aim assist abuser now and you literally can't play the game on MK if you don't play bangalore.@@uvHearthstone
actually the first new fps since years i really enjoy to play. this game is so good. they need a few more game modes, cash modes are fun but it could get repetetive over time. mechanics and performance are insanely good. great potential to be the next big fps game.

this game is absolutely amazing and I pray to god that the company keeps up with the updates. hope to see a lot more during the release of the game. more maps. hopefully weapon customization, etc more equipment a lot of everything. can't wait man!!!
Wish cod had taken the same approach as the finals towards weapons and attachments where the models themselves are accurate to the real world counterparts but they had all the fake names and stuff Edit: 5:33 that flick was just amazing and there actually no overshoot in your aiming

Have 4 hours on this game now and I'm absolutely loving it! fast-paced gameplay, Moving around the map smoothly, and getting kills is rewarding. Some matches feel short but it's different each game.
hey handler sick vid, this game is super fun running light with the dagger and either invis or dash, the back stab one shots are supper sick. i reccomend trying it out its super fun plus its a blast back to your knifing days that i remeber oh so well!
Rn they are focusing on polishing the game for the full release later this year so the content is pretty much done. Of course they'll be updating the game after the release, so what I'm saying is that the game is pretty much complete excluding some polish and bug fixes

bro The Finals is just if warzone and apex legends had a baby which makes this game aproved for almost every FPS player :) the gunplay, movement, graphics, fast gameplay, destruction... this game is a chef's kiss
also, its one of the few games in which turning on raytracing actually provides gameplay benefits lol, it is impossible to make a game calculate lighting properly in real time when the whole thing is breaking apart, so for people who don't have rtx cards we will stay in the dark, but it isn't that bad cus enemies are outlined when that happens so visibility is still there

This game will pop off. I thought it would be whatever but this feels like the start of something new. Cod gave me this rush 15 years ago, battlefield as well, I dabbled in apex and such but this has me and I don’t want beta to end. I’m not sure something like this has been done, and if it has, this is a finely tuned potential masterpiece.
i’m glad the beta is fun for some people. i wanted to like it but (at least on console) i literally couldn’t map my binds to buttons i preferred. hopefully that gets resolved when the game officially comes out
Yeah the game has a serious keybind problem. It doesn't recognise EU keyboards so you can't switch weapons with the number keys and the y and z buttons are switched. There's alo a gamebreaking bug that makes the options menu stuck to your screen and infects your keybinds making one button spread to multiple actions. But it's a beta, so let's hope they don't release it for a few months after the beta so they can actually fix the game

I played this a bit last night, it's actually a blast. I probably won't put the hours into that I do with Cod, but it will be going into my regular rotation.
Graphics : 9.5/10 Gameplay : 10/10 Sounds and commentary 8.5/10 Custimization 8.9/10 This game took elements out of Battlefield, Mirrors Edge, Crysis and Hyperscape. And then The Finals was born. One of, if not the best FPS I have played in 13 years. I hope they can keep up the hype. But I think they will!

i miss games like this. dirty bomb was amazing but it didnt get enough attention which is really sad. the servers are dead and the devs ditched but if players come back again somehow that would be awesome
If this game needs to bring in some players from other FPS titles, they need a basic TDM mode, reduce ever so slightly the ttk, give better support for Controller players (The beta is very limited, you cannot even set custom controller layouts). The ceiling of this game is incredible. Its SO MUCH FUN!
My two friends and I have been loving this game, we do some trolling with sending the bank points flying or surrounding them in goo. Edit: also melee weapons while not amazing are damn fun to use with the cloak ability or the shorty. Just hit and run tactics with flashbangs
I dont know, but I believe that the free items from the battle pass and that you get leveling will be transferred to the final version, I think that only the skins that you can buy at the store will be removed from players after the official launch.
this game is insanely fun and I love it! But in that first clip what in the word? The people I face are doing apex movement and one clipping me while slide jumping and these kids are slow walking doing 80 damage lmao
What I find crazy is if this game could do fire spread and destruct ability in an online multiplayer type game. Why can’t far cry this is exactly why I wish games like that. Had some heart and soul pumped into it instead of recolor the same old game 100 times.

The sound of the coins when you shoot them is very satisfying. Probably get alot of dope from it.
