not exactly related, but I am digging this version of "My Life"...I need to find tabs for the version he plays. Always some of the greatest videos on RUclips. Keep em coming. I've bought gear based much on the way you test them.
Going to have to experiment. Some pedals don't react as well after the compressor. All compressors are not the same. I use the preacher and love it. But there are so many...
Just to clarify: is the buffer engaged when the led is off, and turning the pedal on adds the boost? Been looking for a buffered bypass boost with plugs on the top for ages, everything seems to be true bypass these days, and buying a standalone buffer seems silly to me. Thanks for the great video Mike, you rock!
Hello Otto! Yes, the Buffer mode is on when the LED is off.. actually there is a slightly lit blue background led to let you know it is powered on, but its a bit hard to see in these demos. With the Input knob all the way down and the EQ bypassed it is a perfect unity gain buffer from 20hz to 22khz! Also, it has internal voltage doubling so it doubles whatever voltage you power it with so it never will clip, even with the hottest guitars or signal chains! Cheers! Stephen
Mike, do you feel diference in tone when you change the original bridge (6 saddles) to a traditional (Gleendale with A/E alluminium ?) in your USA deluxe Fender tele?
JCU both are great and the are different types of drives. This one leans more towards a clean boost with enough volume to push your amp into overdrive while the Peacekeeper excels at low gain Overdrive. This one has a killer buffer too...
God... What wonderful tones!
Bloody good demo, Mike!
ptrisonic thanks so much
Outstanding job! Great playing! Thank you going through all of these tones!
typically wonderful playing. Great demo Mike.
Allan Gildea thanks Allan
Great demo as usual Mike!
MEGA CHIGUI thanks for tuning in!

Midwood Guitar Studio thanks! This pedal brings a lot of depth to your tone
fantastic overdrive!

greatvanzinni they are great. Going to demo his dual drive pedal soon. It sounds fantastic!
I work right in downtown Albany no less.
Great demo, how shall I place my compressor? After or before LIFT, assuming signal guitar to lift then compressor?

Stephen Pettyjohn wow, thanks for the reply and thorough explanation! Sold!
I'm contemplating getting this or a cali 76 compressor compact deluxe. I just want something that'll bring out the guitar and make it more 3d.

Mike, which one do you prefer, this one or the thorpyfx peacemaker?

good for bass boost?
Yes! :)
