Honorable Mr. Appavu was declared as the New Gamaliel in a grand event in Vailankanni by the Bishop of Thanajvur and awarded the "Dr Felix Wilfred Award" (13 Dec 2024). Thanks to the political situation he could not attend the event. So this Award was presented to him by the Circle of Friends who organized the event.
