Way much better than the so called American imitation and knockoffs
One of the worst vintage kung fu movies. the director is completely incapable, the story is crude, crass and the revenge is awfully unsatisfying, i've seen hundreds of vintage kf movies and this is the worst among hundreds. If it wasn't for the splendid nature and photography i'd have completely wasted my time watching this trash.
I COMPLETELY AGREE. I was just pissed off at how stupid all the good guys were in this, and how botched the entire plot was. Easily the worst writing of any classic kung fu film, and I’m also a fanatic for them.
@@TimBitten Understood, we are a club of fine enthusiasts and recognize each other by converging on what matters in these movies. I suggest re-watching Snake in the monkey shadow one of the best for storytelling, evolution of highly fascinating characters, arrogant rich men, humble hero, gentle free spirit, sharp vilains. The story is full of finely balanced unknown and many of the fights outcomes are not predictable. The fight choregraphies are mind boggling. The movie has no magic or trick weapon it's all hard acrobatics a feast to watch.
