yes pls make the tutorial
Awesome, was lookin for it. Thanks bro ✌
No problem 👍
Hi Janni. Great Job you are doing!
This is Vassilis from NYC. I really think, it would be a smart idea, for us to jump on a call, since we both share the same passion for AI, and talk further in private about some ideas and thoughts. I’ll email you via your website to make it happen. Looking forward.
Did watch all your vids so far👍👍👍
Keep it up!
i need more information in depth. this gave me a good idea but a lot went over my head, please do a comprehensive tutorial if you can.
Wonderful! Didn't even notice it popped up.
I've only noticed it as I regularly compare the HTML of the sites I'm using. Can definitely recommend that.
amazing video!!Thanks for all this info from Spain!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Hi Jannis - really great content !! - Maybe you could help me with a question. I want to create outbound calls via Vapi. I am located in germany an have a Twillio-number. In Twillio I have a "Verified Caller ID". Within Twillio it is possible to use the Caller ID via an Api. Does Vapi provide a similar way to do the calls ? This would be great. I search a way to call german customers with a german number or at least caller id.
Hey Andreas, Vapi allows you to add any kinds of numbers. You can add them via their "Import" feature, or their API endpoint: docs.vapi.ai/api-reference/phone-numbers/import-twilio-number
In the end, it's just an endpoint that is added to your Twilio phone number. If you add a German number, the assistant will also call with a German number or receive calls on it.
Just make sure to set the right geo permissions so that people from the countries you target can actually call.
Great job. This is a nice platform. 👌
Is there a recurring charge to maintain the AI caller or one time fee?
You are basically charged for the usage of the platform. There is no monthly fee and you only pay for whatever features you actively use.
When creating an assistant, you will be able to see an estimate of how much a minute costs.
As of now, you can expect a minute to be anywhere between $0.08 to $0.20
Hey there, I love the content. I was wondering is there a way to use an open source llm.
Yep, you can also connect a custom LLM. This is an available option within the "Provider keys" section within the Vapi dashboard.
I assume you need to match some parts of the LLM to their JSON and logic requirements.
This is dope man
top top 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Excellent - many thanks
My pleasure!
@@jannismoore Are you still planning on posting your updated Functions Video ?
@@iainhmunro It was initially planned to be released today, but I wanted to push in the knowledge part as this was a big request by many viewers.
The function calling explanation is the next one in line and the next one that's released.
It ran on Make but I never got the call however under status it says it called. What could be the issues?
You may call from a country that isn't whitelisted in your Twilio account
Great! can you make a paid outbound Call setter for me?
You're most welcome to reach out to us: integraticus.com/
I noticed that the AI assistant refers to just one file that you uploaded in the knowledge base. Is it possible to have it refer to multiple docs??
Yep, you can refer it to as many as you like. :) will make a video about that soon
Hi Jannis - great content....got an idea in that case the knowledge-base seems to be not available for the assistant. All data inplemented in the JSON - no reference to the conversation. any ideas? Greetings aus Bamberg
Hey Bernd, you can most likely use prompting to extract key components of the file content that you'd like the bot to have access to. There are really nice methods available, such as ASE (Abbreviated Semantic Encoding). As Vapi provides the infrastructure, it is currently kind of hard to dynamically adjust prompts during the conversations, but if you really have a lot of data, I suggest creating multiple agents that all serve a specific role, and then training that agents on the given data. You can then use a master agent to determine to which one to route the call to, depending in the users inquiry.
Great to see you're in Bamberg. Just passed by there a couple of days ago. Seems like the weather is better again :)
yes make a tutorial pls
Can you do one connect VAPI to a CRM like GHL
Yes, just added that to my list 👍
Filler words during the pauses would be another idea. Is that doable?
Yep, that comes out very soon. It's called back channeling where they use filler word. I know that as I've seen the parameters within their API.
I guess we will be able to simply activate that within their dashboard once released.
Will this be able to save all customer information and do a verification of the client and then provide them with information about their order or account and update the client information dB
And can it be nfsw call bot
This probably depends on how you want to verify the user. You can definitely do that, but I suggest using some kind of value that can be clearly pronounced to the AI Caller to avoid mistakes.
As for the nsfw part: I haven't checked that, but would be interesting to try. Generally a lot of the LLMs use filters which may prevent you from having a solid conversation in that way, but you can try them and see what works best. In the end, you can still add a custom LLM as well.
@@jannismoore could you show how to setup with a custom llm for nfsw and in a way to recall a customer based on their client information
There are two setups I'm trying to accomplish
1)nfsw
2)sales Rep and into customer service / client account status update once they are a client so the ai to deal with them differently if the client was later calling to check up on their account (finance for example)
@@Kevinsmithns I'd love to, but I don't think RUclips would be very happy about that.
@@jannismoore why not? It's by their guidelines
i heard you can whitelabel is it true and if soo do i need to speak to the team for that?
You technically can, but you would need to build your own interface on top (In case you want to offer the exact same features that Vapi does). Vapi offers the infrastructure, which the client would never really see if you build out a solution for them.
Document it bro
howdy
So no google calendar video yet?
Not yet. It’s planned and I’ll squeeze it in when I see fit
