Isaac was 37 when he married Rebecca at the age of 3. Rebecca conceived and gave birth to twins after 20 years later of marriage to Isaac. The question is, how old was Rebecca when Isaac consummated the marriage? I know some Middle Eastern countries, like Saudi Arabia people give their children in marriage at young age, and some before even they are born; but wait till they mature in age.
The thing I find confusing is that Rivka was a cousin to Izzak . His mother's brother's daughter right? Would that make her his first cousin? In Alabama I met a woman who was also first cousin to her husband on both parents side! Isn't hhat outlawed in America ( I sayvthisin a surprised way because the things allowed here are not Biblical). So please help me understand if they were first cousins or if I misunderstood.
Isaac married his cousin's daughter. So there is an extra distance so to speak. It is confusing, though. Baruch and I diagrammed it out on a piece of paper to be sure :) By the way, Biblically, first cousins are allowed to marry.
Avoice told me God is going to give me awife that will love me more than anything, when I hard this I stopped chasing this modernist women for marriage.
