Yay! An orchid video! I repotted a Zygo Bluebird this weekend using your technique because it was one of the few new orchids I have repotted to have a lot of healthy existing roots. Seems to have worked out well. Thanks for this repotting tip!
Tenho o Oncidium cherry baby, Oncidiumm barbatum, Oncidium aloha, Oncidium ornitorrinco, Oncidium varicosum ou popularmente chamado de "chuva de ouro" e também o Oncidium concolor
Do you not think it a good idea to remove the dead outer sheaths too? Wouldn't that tidy up the orchid more, and remove hiding places for bugs?It would also allow you to assess whether there are any leafless older pseudobulbs that could be removed so that you would have a chance of positioning the orchid better when repotting it.
Hey Brad Brandi here, thanks for posting I always purchase old rescue orchids. Recently I got an oncidium. I'm completely lost and hoping I did it right I followed your instructions and I'm worried Bec it barely has roots :( but alot of new growth shoots
I have an orchid that looks like that, but doesn't grow up. it is called Mtdm Pacific Paragon Honey Butter. it has a pleasant scent. It is hard to say if it is exactly the same.
Hi Brad, nicly repotted! Do you keep your orchids in sphagnum moss for two years? I heard they should be changed yearly. Is this ok? I got some phals in sphagnum moss but i repot yearly. What is your opinion on this?
Hi Brad I have an orchid with no tag, it looks like yours but different colour..how ca I tell if it’s an Oncidium orchid or Melanoptis ? Or is the care for them the same
Love your videos on orchids. Thank you.
