Dancehall artists make 20 songs on the same beat. the boy R&B groups back in the 80s/90s used to “steal” New edition or Jackson 5 or temptations songs and it was their first big hit. Everyone “steals” y’all are just old and are starting to do what your parents did to you which was saying all your new movies/music/athletes are crap and my generation was better. And half of these stolen songs were hated by the people that they sampled but they either didn’t own the rights to the song so they couldn’t block it or the label kept begging and they finally gave in… but y’all still loved the songs as kids

(Obviously not all artist do this but it’s still surprising how many do)
