Wels, no matter how many negative comments there are just know that there are probably 10× more people who are glad to see a video from you. I have watched almost every video since your most recent binding if issac series and more from before. I always am happy to see that you have posted and completely understand the unintended (or even intended) breaks. Just know within the numbers of youtube there are people who appreciate you!
He Wels, a little FYI, if you get a hard drive out in the wild, you can actually place down a M.A.M. and start the research then disassemble it. It will still research even if it's disassembled.
I don't know why, but you're the only youtuber I'd watch satisfactory content since the pre-release (I'd wager on your playstyle being orderly and clean while not being too technical which is calming)
I own this game, played it like 15-20 minutes in early beta and never returned... but seeing you play thru it and showing more of your thoughts and idear in the game make me want to play it again, I hope to start a new world later today. Thank you for igniting the spark :)
Hey Wels, love the series. I’ve been dabbling I’m diamensional storages. Dam the solve the inventory issues of so many of these games. I’d recommend prioritising this as it means you can pull items from storage wherever you are on the map.
Small tip: when choosing a recipe from a hard drive you can hover over the different parts of the recipe to see what it takes to make them, including the result. You don’t have to get out of the choosing UI to look up the current recipe.
Great to see the 1.0 release! I've been interested to see what its like now it's out of beta. I'd be curious if you ever considered putting up the longer unedited videos (maybe on a second channel?). Maybe with the caveat that it's not so polished or you don't talk during most of it. Something I frequently enjoy about this style of game is the process! It'd be nice to watch your process, even the more grindy/"boring" parts.
Highly recommend prioritizing the mobility advancements. Such as the parachute, so you’ll need mycelium and the blade runners, so you’ll have to bite the bullet and run for quartz
These videos are an interesting introduction to a game I've heard about but never really looked into, thanks! I would imagine that if I were playing, I'd want to colour-code my different machines/production lines to make it easier to remember which ones are doing which tasks. Is that something the game allows for, whether right from the start or in the later stages of a playthrough?
Hey Wels, I know you’re on episode 4 now so not too sure if you’ve learned this yet, but you can cover the ore node with a foundation by like 2m and still place a miner on it, really helps with organization
I think he has them on Retaliate, as evidence by the Spitter only attacking him after he attacked it. There's a setting which changes creature hostility, with three options. Regular means they'll attack you no matter what, it's the basic option (and what you have currently enabled, I'd guess), Retaliate, in which they'll only attack you if you attack them first (my personal preference), and then it's either called Passive or Peaceful, in which they'll never attack you. I _believe_ it's under gameplay settings and isn't world-dependent, but I might be wrong.
They made the early game hostile much less hostile and tuned down their detection radius. They actually mentioned this in a post. The low level hostile were proving a bit much for early game.
Please tell me you picked up the blue slug off the tree near the crash site off camera. I'm assuming rescanning the hard drive would have rerolled the available recipes, so why not rescan the hard drive if the choices you got weren't good?
@@CowCommando You get one reroll per hard-drive now, but I know back in Update 7 (when I played the most before 1.0) there used to be three options and if you wanted to reroll you would have to reload the save. Not sure if save-reloading does reroll the options but if you don't like the options, hold onto it. The hard-drive library saves scanned drives, temporarily removing them from the pool to increase odds of getting a more desirable alternate recipe. Although I'm not sure if there's a cap, but from what I've heard, I think it's just as many as can fit in the sidebar in the library.
Not much goes on during summer, so the pace gets slow. He mentioned in the comments he will be back soon when the server gets busier. Impulse and Skiz talked about this on their most recent play through. Apparently a few Hermits are playing satisfactory at the moment.

Who puts negative comments on this man's videos?

I should have known a technical Hermit such as yourself would play Satisfactory. This game took over my life and I have been loving the 1.0 update!!!

Hey Wels; great episode, I just started this game after watching you and hypno playing, and now I'm addicted it's so much fun

Loving this series! Found your channel through this satisfactory

This game looks like fun. Loving this series so far Wels.
Satisfactory is a blast and even better with friends I cannot recommend this game enough
I'm loving this series! It's so satisfactory

Glad you're enjoying the game! Haven't played it yet but it definitely looks like something I'd be willing to try

Some of the ADA lines have been changed you should listen to the milestone ones (the train one is my personal favorite line ADA says)

It's definitely an option. If I remember correctly you don't have it right from the beginning but it's one of the earlier things you unlock.
You have it pretty early, in the second milestone
Yeah it in the awesome sink milestone
So before any big factories

🎉🎉🎉🎉ep.2!!!
Day late but love me a good Wels video
22:21 all I know is that we have some demons to murder by the sound of it...
what if you do a playthrough with wanderbots
Do you have creatures on peaceful mode? They are way more aggressive for me, attacking when I'm even remotely close.

ALL of the voice lines were changed, even the beginning stuff is slightly changed.
Why overclock and not make second assembler just out of curiosity, overclock uses more power

I'm assuming rescanning the hard drive would have rerolled the available recipes, so why not rescan the hard drive if the choices you got weren't good?
Rescanning them doesn't do anything, but you can reroll your options once per hard drive.
@@WelsknightGaming then why not do the reroll to try to get something better?
@@CowCommando You get one reroll per hard-drive now, but I know back in Update 7 (when I played the most before 1.0) there used to be three options and if you wanted to reroll you would have to reload the save. What happened to hermitcraft?
I'm sure it will be back, we should be patient :)
he be on break from HC
He has not been on HC in 2-3 Seasons. Not sure when/if he will be going back. He is also on a MC hiatus as far as I know.
@LadyVineXIII he...has though? Low activity, sure, but he's still been there

bro hop on hermitcraft or at least give us a community post please 🙏
Just finished my turbo fuel setup working on the next part now :)
