Choke* and yes, he did horrible things to his victims before he murdered them.
I saw an episode of "Evil Lives Here" on the ID channel dealing with Timothy Spencer and in it they interviewed his younger brother. He also had been physically [not sexually] victimized by Timothy while growing up; it seemed like Timothy was using his brother as practice for his crimes against women. That brother's interview was heart breaking; it made me cry for the young man. Timothy would also tell his brother not to follow in his [Timothy's] footsteps and be a good man when he was grown. It was clear the brother still loved Timothy, but hated what he had done.

What pissed me off with this case is that Spencer was on parole when he committed these murders. He was recently released from prison. All of this could've been prevented. I'll say it again, the parole laws in this country must change. Period. May all these beautiful women rest in peace 🙏🏾

You act as if the our foreign enemies who rule over this country give a rats assss. They love turning this country into a crime ridden, broke tyrannical sewer hole. The game is just getting started, as crime and lawlessness will be so rampant. You will not be afraid of hell once they are done with us. Our enemies are within. Wait until they get us to turn against each other. Divided we are falling. He who has the gold is the ruler and China and the Muslims have the most. So you all better get on your knees and pray. We are just getting started as the smart and rich dump their stock and fly away to greener pastures.

The problem is the system as a whole. Prison in America is solely punative. We send people to jail and expect them not to commit crimes when they get out. If you look into statistics about jail/crime in scandavian countries where prison is rehabilitative the implications are clear. The recidivism rates alone prove which system is superior, and which system should be in place in any country that prioritizes its citizens over profits.

It is scary how you think you are safe in your home with your family but all of a sudden someone breaks in and kills you mercilessly for nothing. Poor 15 year old girl, her parents must have been so distraught. I mean what else you could possibly do to keep your children safe, she was sleeping in a locked home. Such men should have a little bit of empathy and surrender themselves to medical institution, if such thoughts are over powering the mind. But then evil exists.

Each time I watch all these true crime shows, I get even more afraid for our children. It’s so dangerous. It’s just difficult to trust anyone with your safety- even your family. Husbands kill wives, wives kill husbands, mothers kill children, children kill parents. We have killer neighbours, teachers etc. it’s so scary to think that you could be sitting right next to a killer and you won’t even know it. People get killed for any reason. You could literally be a victim just by simply being in a school classroom or even doing your groceries. Scary 😢

Timothy Spencer didn’t seem to feel any remorse whatsoever for killing 5 innocent women. What drives these evil criminals to commit such heinous crimes is unacceptable. I don’t know what it is whether they are born with some kind of defective brains, or are simply bad men, but one thing is for sure: that these 5 ladies didn’t deserve to die at all in such violent and cruel way. Sad case where innocent lives were shattered by the actions of a vile individual.

I had no idea DNA and DNA blood matching were that far along in 1987/88. I see cases in the 90s where it is said that DNA wasn't as efficient. I reckon, though, that these labs weren't available to as may who needed it at that time. It's amazing to find such forensic evidence and LEs working together to find the perpetrator of these horrific murders.
