So many slot videos about now, always edited beautifully to look like winning videos. This is a perfect example of what can happen when slots are on the take and you can't leave cos you're invested. Gambling is a very romanced activity, particularly slot playing. It's normally done alone and gamblers fantasise over achieving things (like a particular outcome) that these games have to offer.

I think I could justify losing £4500 online in terms of slots and tables because the potential is there but in an arcade I think my max would be £500 in.

What do you do for a living ? Won the lotto ? My biggest loss was £1300 on bookies slots. I wish I knew why some days I'd go in a slot and it's just paying non stop, even if I go to another bookies but then on others days it's on the take . I lost £6000 in the last 4 days. I only have £500 left to my name. Completely devastated but I'm certain the end machine was rigged. Its what got me in the end. My bookies are run by people who used to sell drugs. They knew I was doing well in the casino and followed me overtime I'd get a big loss. All because they didn't like me going somewhere better. Hope you recovered from this. I'll try again in a couple of weeks but I dont think I can go any further my gambling days are numbered.

Ross, well done for posting. I've been following you for a while your videos portrait the reality of playing these perfectly. Good prizes and fun for bravery. But hefty losses can be habitual also.

People who don't gamble don't understand you can take a pint or two beers & get so carryed away playing those washing machines with PNRG chips turning a degenerate cartonish video game into a serious financial loss in a matter or hours of hell minutes, but for me electronic roulette is the most brutal degen happy slot disguised as a roulette... You were holding good 7 Neighbours for two hours..
The way you were playing those gambles was over-the-top, even for you, if I'm being honest. Like those couple on King's Honour in quick succession where you managed to get low wins up to around 320 on the gamble, but lost it all going for the 500. Save 250 and gamble 70 for the other 250, it doesn't make sense to risk so much for so little additional cash. Or if you manage to get up to 15 spins, go for 20 then 30 then 50 or 100, going straight for 15 to 100 will lose at least 4/5 times.
The odds are the same mate, In many ways it's irrelevant, go for a 4x multiplier and on average you'll win 1 in 4 attempts, go for 2 2x multipliers instead? Yup same average of 1 win in 4 attempts, scale that up to whatever odds you want...it all comes out the same average....£50 to £500 gamble? (A 1 in 10 chance/average) will still be the same odds if you go £50 to £75, then £75 to £100, then £100 to £175, £175 to £250, £250 to £500 will still come in on average once every 10 attempts. It's much of a muchness.
Personally I don't gamble my winnings for jackpots, but even if your target was more modest, say gambling for 20 spins or £100...whatever, the route there, regardless of how you take it from your reel win gamble, will be the same odds of coming in
