I see Games Workshop denying more and more options to the Ynnari, most recently some of the current Drukhari rules. I personally have the feeling that Games Workshop would like to get rid of the Ynnari, but doesn't dare and instead makes the faction as unattractive as possible so that any interest in it is nipped in the bud...

The Tower of Flesh, reminds me, at last in my own imagination to the Tree of Shrike, (Hyperion by Dan Simmons) one of the books in a Saga that said author wrote. To all that find the verse of 40k, enthralling, I warmly suggest buying the books or audio books. It got all, sci fi, horror, complex and evolving characters, sometimes not just figuratively, a look the faaar faaaar future. It is to me to this day still one of the best of that genres.. It will be well worth your time.
So while everyone compliments your voice, I’m gonna say your acting is awesome, and that’s what matters. While this wasn’t your best video (it feels a bit read-y relative to other videos, no worries) it’s still really great! I’m studying voice acting, and gotta say, I’m jealous not only of your gravelly voice and accent, but of your ability to express and evoke emotions. You use a lot of vocal ticks to do so (ENNND QUOTE!), but you also acknowledge the emotion of given phrases and beats, and are just a great storyteller. There are a bunch of guys with quirky accents or gravelly voices, but that doesn’t automatically make their performances authentic or interesting. You however, do sir. Keep on keeping on!

I love the Dark Eldar. I'd love them more if Vect wasn't the nigh infallible, nearly sole focus of their lore. They'd be much more interesting if he was just _one of_ the most powerful Archons, with more emphasis on a broader, byzantine political landscape in Comorragh. It's a bit annoying that almost all the power moves made by any Dark Eldar wind up being made by Vect. "Let's just all sit around here and wait to see what Vect does..." isn't very compelling.
@@Baldermort Yup. I think it's just a lazy attempt to give the DE a primarch/far seer type of character, but it doesn't work when there's really just one. Does Lelith even get much attention? If he'd actually been dead when everyone thought he was, that would have the best thing for the DE lore since their inception.
Vect is a naughty boy, but this naughty boy has a sense of humour, I'm surprised though, that the harlequins suffer his rule after a number of their own clan are lost in that time trap, but they are Eldori, who knows how their twisted loyalties actually work? Well uncle Baldy you have properly got my attention, under world back stories of the craft worlds, an in depth presentation of Comorragh, young Vect misbehaving, and Harlequins, and that's just for starters, massive grins all round and thank you.
I love Drukhari stuff, and it feels like it isn't as represented by lore channels (probably because there's less of it since stories are primarily told from the Imperium's POV and they factor in less) so this was really cool, and most of it was completely new information to me. Comorragh has always been fascinating to me from the artwork we see of it but I never knew much about its origins (beyond being inside the webway and avoiding the Slaanesh birth scream). Damn, that is quite the plot hole now that you mention it. Every space marine cruiser carries means of commiting Exterminatus. Then again, thinking too hard about anything in 40k lore is a good way to ruin it for yourself. At least we have "warp fuckery" for anything insanely canon breaking.
@@matthew92604 For the strike cruiser it makes sense because within the ranks of the Astates, only a Chapter Master can order Exterminatus. But when the fleet departed, Exterminatus should have been preformed and somebody who was authorized to make such an order, most likely was present.
@@matjov To be fair, the Salamanders do really hate the Drukhari and when the Salamanders get angry because some Xenos harmed the regular subjects of the Imperium, they tend to go for the flamers, as the Drukhari who tried to board the strike cruiser learnt. Think about how much of an arsehole Vect has to be to oppose Yvraine. I know Farseers oppose her too, but they oppose her because they think she's doing something incredibly irresponsible which could accidentally doom their entire species. Vect, on the other hand, is scheming against the literal best hope for every single Eldar in the Galaxy (and not exactly in it, for that matter) because she (unintentionally) moderately inconvenienced him and because if she succeeds then the foundation he's built his personal power on *might* shift. Try to imagine actively and repeatedly trying to seal the final doom of your entire race over that.
The only one who cares about the Dark Eldar is Slaanesh. She/he can change them for the better! Just gotta get out of those...meat clothes~ *purrs daemonically*

Think about how much of an arsehole Vect has to be to oppose Yvraine. I know Farseers oppose her too, but they oppose her because they think she's doing something incredibly irresponsible which could accidentally doom their entire species. Vect, on the other hand, is scheming against the literal best hope for every single Eldar in the Galaxy (and not exactly in it, for that matter) because she (unintentionally) moderately inconvenienced him and because if she succeeds then the foundation he's built his personal power on *might* shift. Try to imagine actively and repeatedly trying to seal the final doom of your entire race over that.
The only one who cares about the Dark Eldar is Slaanesh. She/he can change them for the better! Just gotta get out of those...meat clothes~ *purrs daemonically*
