I remember watching this one with you two. So heartbreaking. Hugs to you guys and of course to Sesska. Rough, rough episode. Right up there with TWD 9x5.
@@faridsabri2969 Ok? So you would rather have them fake their reaction by making them look? Making a reactor do something you want them to do and they don't want to do themselves is making a cake reaction, nobody likes those. Except for you, the special Ed.
I remember when you first said you were terrified of snakes, it made me think about this episode and how hard it would be for you to watch. RIP King Ragnar Lothbrok.
You should look up the extended version of the scene with Ragnar and the Blind man. It's really good. They talk about Lagertha and the Seer's "Prophecy" about how she would never have any children.
That sh!t got me very much too. Especially all the time that past after season 3 after Ragnar and Floki falling out, and Ragnar's disappearance, things didn't exactly return to the way it was before between them. That last moment though, was so gut wrenchingly tearful. Great Show !
Incidentally, originally Travis Fimmel (Ragnar) was only meant to be in Vikings for one season, with the remainder of the seasons concentrating on Ragnar's sons, but he was so good in the role they kept him on and focused the stories around him.
We all couldn't accept his dead. Don't be sorry for your reaction. I love that you are emotionally attached to Ragnar, as we all are. :) "It gladdens me to know..."
This is one of the most genuine reactions I’ve ever watched. Best episode of all time and greatest character of all time gone. Travis Fimmel just done a outstanding job with the character. Don’t worry, you’ll still love the seasons without Ragnar so I can’t wait for the reactions for them!
Always hard watching reaction to this! the music 😢 - my all time favourite character! Show definitely changed after this :[ love you Ragnar and Travis for nailing this role! 😍❤😭
Oh my dear Jess, I'm so very sorry. Ever since you started season 1 I've dreaded you reaching this point, especially knowing your snake phobia. Some people may scoff, but I know how real that can be for you, and I was genuinly distressed for you watching this. I hope you were able to find a safe space to relax, maybe give your dog a cuddle for comfort. As for Ragnar, in a sense he has orchestrated his death quite deliberately, knowing full well his sons will wreak a terrible revenge. Be assured - Oh how the little piggies will grunt when they hear how the old boar suffered!
Nothing to explain. I've watched this whole series 5 times & still react as you have at the same moments everytime. It was well written, beautifully casted & perfectly executed. Without cursing or nudity, it has legitimately given G.O.T. a serious run for its money.
I would just like to say, there has never been ANY moment in any one of your reactions where I thought you were being fake, or overly dramatic. You are 100% real and that's why we love you. Big hugs xx
When I saw your reaction way back in the beginning of the series, after a man was thrown in the snake pit, I kept saying how is she gonna handle S4E15. Emotional and a great/genuine/heartfelt reaction.
i just watched the episode and i have never cried that much... not even the red wedding made me cry as much as this one... hell im still crying right now
I'm so sorry you had to experience this part of the story, I remember seeing this episode for the first time and it was the first time I felt my heartbreak over a TV character more, this man has brought more emotion out of me in the episode alone than most series that take multiple seasons to warrant tears...RIP Ragnar Lodbrok and Good luck Travis in your career brother.
Jess- Reminds me of Rosa Magalhaes watching "Arachnids in the UK." As someone who understands phobia, I told her at the time how proud I was that she pushed herself through it, and you same goes for you. I was concerned that you would be forced to miss the most important scene in the series, but I can't say enough about how bravely you soldiered through it. Great character, legendary scene.
Wow, the way you approached this reaction is very courageous! I don't know if I could watch the episode if I have had a phobia of snakes. Hope you took time to rest and recuperate and that things are OK now. Thank You for a very raw and involved reaction x
I remember in one of the first episodes of your reactions to vikings you said you hated snakes so much... First thing that came to my head was this episode. You did well despite your fear of snakes you didn't stop watching and went through with it.. Made Ragnar proud! :)
SESSKA....I TOLD SITHFURION THAT BC OF YOUR FEAR OF SNAKES U WON'T WATCH RAGNARS DEATH SCENE & IT MIGHT BE UR MOST HATED VIDEO. LOL I AM SOOOO GLAD I WAS WRONG! THANK U FOR THE RESPECT IT DESERVED
girl, I did the same watching this episode. Even in your reaction, I had to put my hands to cover the part of the snakes so that I wouldn't see them. I'm super afraid of them too, it's my main fear. When I watched I cover my eyes a lot, and when I watched your reaction too. Your reaction it was amazing and everything we expected from you. Don't apologize for being you. If anyone doesn't trust you, it's their problem, their lost for not getting to know you and see how amazing you are. Your reactions are amazing, know that. Sending you a lot of hugs and love.
I knew from the moment in episode one with the snake pit that this reaction was going to be difficult for you. I’m proud of you for doing as well as you did.
I've been anxious to see how you'd react to "THAT" scene for so long thinking daaaaamn she's gonna lose her shit, But then actually seeing it I just wanted to give you a huge hug :( well done for trying your best to watch regardless and face your fears in a sense for your viewers.
That “how the little piggies will grunt” is the most gangsta line Ragnar could have dropped at that moment. He’s basically saying “when my sons hear what went down over here, you’re so fucked it’s not even worth me feeling bad over this”.
I’m very late seeing this, but congratulations on getting through this episode. I think that considering the content, you did very well. As much as I love watching reactors and seeing how they process scenes that are emotional and evocative, I don’t think you need to torture yourselves. People have different triggers and if you need to cover your eyes for certain parts, just go ahead and do what you need to do without worrying about whether some people are going to be upset that you “missed” something. I think the majority of us want you to keep yourself sane and be able to keep doing reactions.
I am sobbing! 😭 You did your best and I'm amazed you got through it and looked as much as you did. 👏👏👀 I feel for you. This is how I react to roaches. Irrational fear!! Plus it's Ragnar's death. 😭😭😭 Amazing and genuine ❤️💕👍

Lodbrok means shaggy breeches (roughly translated) and it is written that the snakes couldnt bite through em so Aella ordered him taken out of the yard (Maybe pit) and be stripped from em and thrown back in.... and that did the "trick" .... atleast thats the Norse original version of it ... so to em it wasnt just an execution but a humiliation of their BIGGEST "idol/icon" aswell even seen as a direct decendand of Odin All Father himself by many or most..... sure would/could explain why the sons of Ragnar (As they claimed to be... but historians today say their father Ragnar were probally just a myth but they still have to explain where those who claimed to be the Sons of Ragnar came from if not from Ragnar and Aslaug) were able to reach across 3 countrys (Scandinavia) and assemble the biggest army ever (not seen before or after) in the 300 years the Viking age lasted ! ;)

The only thing I didn't like about your reaction was the fact you felt you needed to apologize for your reaction. You were real & genuine, it was a true reaction to an extremely difficult scenario. I was really worried about the snake scene. I'm glad you made it through it "okay".
I haven't followed Vikings reactions for quite a while but I had to see this one.
