Introducing Dj Artist Sapient for the first time on Beware Of Falling Avocados for Episode 13.
Sapient is a Bangladeshi American DJ and producer who cut his DJ teeth in New York City in the late 90s and early 2000s. He has played all over the world, in cities such as Barcelona, Bangkok and Shanghai, including residencies in New York at the famed Sullivan Room and at the renowned yearly Winter Music Conference in Miami.
After returning to Bangladesh in 2009, Sapient was one of the founding members of Farmhaus, along with Authr, Raisoul, and OMDG. He’s also one of the three founders of the Rage Electronic Music events of 2022-2023, along with Adnan Karim and DJ Badkid. Currently, Sapient, along with Tawsiv, is one of the organizers of Waves, one of the hottest parties this year.
Sapients style ranges from tech house to bass house to his first love, breakbeats, but always with a generous splash of funk and hip-hop.
