USAFA '80 grad here. I was surprised to see you at USAFA. I used to be the OIC for In-Processing Day, so this video brought back many memories. I believe that the last video you posted was from early in IFT in Pueblo, so I expected you'd be at your UPT base now and we'd be seeing that video. Do you have more delay before your UPT report date? Your videos are very good. Keep up the good work.
I’m a little nervous about entering basic military training at the Air Force academy prep school and I was wondering though your experience how did you got the nomination?
When you graduate from the Prep School, you'll need to be re-nominated by your local senator or congressman (or the President, technically). However, if you're not nominated for some reason, then the Prep School Commander also has the authority to nominate you. But if you graduate from the Prep School, you're more or less guaranteed a nomination.

In-processing day. Day 0. The first day of Basic Training, etc.

Found out my wife's cousins son started there. Had pictures from I-DAY.
I was actually on the academy today for a sports camp and I saw all the cadre practicing. Good luck to all the new cadets tomorrow.

I finished IFT but my UPT date was delayed until September. So I’m still on casual status at USAFA for a while
