I am all the way in Jamaica and the way I'm feeling words can not explain its tears of passion and joy... I can remember back in the days from that Roma defeat I use to tell my cousin every day that listen I'm giving Barca until 2025 before we win the champions league again and I use to say this everytime and look at the team right now. I have no doubt we can win the champions league this season.

Inaki Pena just doesn't do it for me. Each time we are in a dangerous position, he looks nervous and concedes almost each shot. Really hope that Szczesny gets up to speed soon. But the problem for Flick is that Pena has not had a catastrophical game yet, so therefore cannot replace him because this is potentially going to disrupt the dressing room...

My prediction for Ansu Fati was a double for him today, he is still not at his very best. But i just loved the way he tried to somehow be involve with everything in the pitch whether it was defending or attacking he took his chances. All he needs is confidence and maybe just maybe a little more minutes ❤️💙
This match again proved that ansu fati is below average. After watching the last three matches it is clear that both P. Victor and F. Torres are much better than A. Fati.
@@thegift4287 Completely wrong, he is just coming back from a few injuries he picked up at Brighton a bad loan, he is training very hard and also trying to win his spot im the starting 11. Injuries and confidence can affect a player. They just can automatically be scoring goals after injuries, not how it works. He needs time to grow.

He lacks confidence and was rather lazy. He was slowing the ball didn’t try to pass through opponents, and in defence he was often walking and watching. Defensively looked like Lewandowski did more than Ansu. Piss poor

Fati had good opportunity to score with header and he executed it badly. He needs to be able to score when given chance nobody will baby sit him. He lacked confidence and was one of the worst players unfortunately

3 players that make me nervous is Iñaki Peña Ferran Torres and Erik Garcia,
these 3 in my opinion shoul'd never be a Barca player
Eric seems like he can improve slightly. Ferran is just hopeless.
Fati is also hopeless and miserable. E. Garcia is worst. Fati, Torres and garcia all of them does not deserve to be in the playing 11.
We may still survive with poor Torres and Garcia in a mix, but definitely lost a game with poor Pena.

Delighted with that game last night. Everyone was great. Gavi's comeback was special. The crowd were loving it. Gonna be fun seeing this team against Bayern.
Knowing that Eric Garcia was to be in the lineup but fati in the starting lineup and nothing changed in our physiology of our game shows you our squad depth
Lamine yamal is the most beautiful thing i have seen in a long while. Its like when roku died and the 4 nations waited for aang.

I just hope that when we start getting injured players like Araujo and Frenkie back to FULL fitness, we don't lose any team chemistry or that it causes any issues with tea morale. It worries me a bit because I can't really see any of our regular starters this season getting benched. I don't want Iningo out of the team, as I don't want Casado to be benched either
It was so nice to see Gavi coming back to play again for Barca after 348 days without football and only injuires and no football he was so bored and wanted to play so long and you could tell on his face it says it self how terrible it must feel like to not play and your team mates does but he is back and very good form like he was never away from our club and starting 11 nice job and i hope he wil be injury free from now on and we are keeping close eyes on him and De La Fuente in the future don't play players that is not fit enough to start an meaningless game he should have never played in from the first place i stil blame De La Fuente for it that man doesn't want to admit it and take responsebility for once.
I hope we can see this a few more times! (Not pressuring, already thanking the uploads) but this is one of my fav formats of vids, especially after positive matches. Keep up the great work Jamie 🤞

I don't trust Inaki Pena and if Flick doesn't think about changing him out of the LineUp for the big games, his true colours will show and we will have to pay for it.
I guess Flick knows more about the team than any one of us , And look at the replacement, Szczęsny isn't ready right now
I agree, but I think the reason he is still starting is because Flick doesn’t wanna just shaft him out of the starting 11 immediately as Szczesny arrived. Flick is someone who wants to make everyone feel important, and also Szczesny might also not be fully up to speed yet.

Flick don't want to lose the locker room, he must leave Inaki in the goal right now, until disaster happen, and he will have a reason to change him. Season is long Szczesny will see his chances, unfortunately even if he is ready and better (he is) than Pena he can't replace him just like that.
Casado was sublime with his interceptions. The defence looked so good because of his work, imo I'd rate him higher than defence.
A few years ago Yamal was at a completely different height, and as he grew he became kinda clumsy on the ball, but this was simply because he had to learn how to move with his new structure.
I feel he is now getting comfortable with his current height and it shows with how consistent he has become with his skills.

Player ratings are always my fav type og TalkFCB videos. So this is just amazing!!! The format works really well. But I still prefer the version where players get ratings out of the expectations that specific player has. I know that is more dofficult, but u did it before around 2020 and that was a even better format in my opinion. Keep uo the giod work jamie

I get your point about Balde’s need to grow to the next level of performance, but yesterday he was a real pain for Sevilla, he played with a extremely vertical mindset, he was never afraid of running forward and was a needle striking the left flank again and again. I really think he is in the right path, and yesterday was a step forward. So, a solid eight in my opinion. I agree completely with the rest of scores.

Your rating of him pretty much sums up Gavi, even though he played shortly, you still gave him a 10, as every other Barca fan, player and coach would.
Not because we like him blindly, but because all of us appreciate him, he is always giving his 110%, and we know that he is again ready to sacrifice his body for the club without hesitation immediately, both in attack and defence.

Defence is not looking composed and sharp. Balde's crossing from left side is still shèîít💩👎. I've never seen him execute a successful cross pass. Everyone is looking sharp and amazing except a. Fati. This match again proved that ansu fati is below average. After watching the last three matches it is clear that both P. Victor and F. Torres are much better than A. Fati.

The way Pedri played with Sevilla, I witnessed magic.
Inaki needs to be better. 5/10 for him and not because of the goal let in. I played keeper, and I had moments where I was shaky, but that should wear off after the warm-up. The warm-up is not just for your body but also for the mind. As a keeper, that is the game. It can be a physical role, don't get me wrong, but you have to be confident. You get a view of the whole pitch and that is the advantage you can think without fear. Make key passes, yell at defenders, and at the half tell mids and attackers the loopholes into the attack. Information is the name of the game. Keepers have to be strong, and I'd rather have Szcezny, not because of his ability to make saves but because I think he can get a handle on the game. I'll end on a high note. I love the fact that Inaki is getting a start because that's how you build confidence. Sorry for the rant. Ps, love player ratings.

Balde is at his very best when he has the licence to cut inside from the wide position. He did that a couple times yesterday and he was so good. Yeah there are still things to improve but he’s still only 19

The big question was who was going to start in goal: Pena or new signing Wojciech Szczesny? The former was selected but all he had to do was pick the ball out of his net near the end.
Jules Kounde (7/10):
Was solid enough at the back and got forward at every opportunity.
Pau Cubarsi (7/10):
Pulled off some good tackles at the back and kickstarted an attack that would have been a goal-of-the-season contender. However, was lucky Isaac Romero was offside as he clumsily took out the attacker in his own box. Was caught out for Sevilla's consolation, too.
Inigo Martinez (8/10):
Was the more solid of the defenders in Barca's backline. He looked calm and composed when required.
Alejandro Balde (7/10):
Was up against the tricky Dodi Lukebakio and didn't have it all his own way. But always looks a threat going forward.
Marc Casado (7/10):
Was busy and energetic throughout. His side dominated the midfield battle and that was partly down to his industriousness.
Pedri (8/10):
Bossed the midfield and took his goal in spectacular fashion. A really encouraging display for the 21-year-old.
Raphinha (8/10):
The captain played in a more central role as Eric Garcia was injured in the warm-up, albeit he roamed all over the place. The Brazilian took to the attacking midfielder position with ease and had a swagger about him all night.
Lamine Yamal (7/10):
Wasn't quite in top gear but the 17-year-old didn't need to be. Showed flashes of brilliance but wasn't at his very best. We need to treat him as adult now and no give he’s only 17 card.
Robert Lewandowski (9/10):
The arch poacher showed off his clinical edge once again in an impressive all-round display. There are no signs of slowing down for the 36-year-old.
Ansu Fati (5/10):
he was off the pace and his touch let him down. Missed a big chance to score his first goal in nearly 18 months as very little went right for him. Also weak defensively, did not contribute much.
Fermin Lopez (7/10):
Had some nice touches when he came on.
Pau Victor (7/10):
Looked lively off the bench.
Pablo Torre (8/10):
Remarkably scored two goals off the bench in the space of six minutes.
Gavi (7/10):
Got one of the biggest cheers of the night as he returned to the field after 11 months out injured. Flew into a tackle straight away!
Gerard Martin (N/A):
Didn't have much time to make an impact.

it was a great performance from the team today however i would feel way more comfortable ahead of the bayern game if szczesny and dani olmo are ready to play in it! i think the gk and lw position are the two positions were we lack real quality right now
