I just bought a slide for my guitar and went looking for this song that I haven't heard on the radio for quite a long time and I am so happy to find the Avett Brothers version here. It is just wonderful. They played it in such a simple and melodic way that honors the song and the man who wrote it. A song that asks for all that we really need. I don't know if I've ever heard a better version that wasn't done by George himself. Now back to my slide lesson.
