A great experience for your anniversary but one little point is that you pronounced Turbot as Turbow but in the U.K. it’s said as Tur butt similar to us pronouncing Fillet as Fill it and not Fillay. Yes, exactly! We don't really use the word posh. Except when we're talking about Victoria Beckham lol!
Crochet 'lawn', not field guys! Great channel by the way.
Good point! I should've said lawn! But I do have to correct you on the spelling of croquet 😉
Thanks for watching! Really appreciate your support . 💖 Dara and Ian
@@MagentaOtterTravels Aha! Thanks!
sweet
And we always get told off for taking phone in to the WC😂
I am very naughty. Plus, how could I ever have made my British bathrooms video without doing that?
But if you weren't gauche....we would not have all those wonderful videos! So please continue to be gauche 😉😁
I'm pushing the boundaries of being acceptably gauche 😉
A great experience for your anniversary but one little point is that you pronounced Turbot as Turbow but in the U.K. it’s said as Tur butt similar to us pronouncing Fillet as Fill it and not Fillay.
You also made a great observation that you wouldn’t want to eat that kind of food every day and it’s true that a sandwich or pie or a Cornish pasty would suffice most of the time.
I know, I was being defiant! I insist on pronouncing fillet as well as turbot the American way lol
@@MagentaOtterTravels To be fair you do pronounce nearly all your British words correctly including tomato !
@@philipmason9537 well, I do try! However I have strong opinions when it comes to a few words and I refuse to convert to the British pronunciation 🤣🤣
congratulations on reaching 31 years married , neither of you look old enough
