1. What does addvar lib 0 do? I thought addvar was for adding aliases, but you do it every time you open? 2. Ctrl+Shift+C/V to copy pasta in Terminal. 3. aptclient is usually a good local for bouncing.
When attempting to run msfconsole on my server in viper, I get "Error could not start listener". Is there something else I should have set up before hand?
Great videos and they are very helpful, you should make more tutorials, you have do have a gift for helping/teaching and showing players what to do in the game to move forward and progress, justa a quick question, at what point in the game does Viper become available? do you have to complete a lot of jobs for it to be available or does it become available after a certain contract that needs to be done?
@@TheSmegster I recommend getting into multiplayer sooner than later. it's a much more full experience. Even if you get hacked, not a big deal. Just start a new box.

That's the direction I'm going now. Viper takes out a lot of the guts, and not really understanding what I'm doing. There are a lot of great player scripts out there. If you look in the description of my newest vid, there's some good tools linked there.
@@thugspeedman7869 yeah I’ve already made my own scripts and a JSON parser/lexer since I have stored all the library exploits and am using them in my other penetration test script which already scans all ports and stuff and returns all exploits. Really fun but was wondering if I should try out viper since it’s already made and I don’t have to roll my own. And I’ve been stuck lately with bounce exploits which your video has enlightened me to so thank you!

the addvar lib 0 allows you to use your home computer's processor for operations that would normally be super slow on remote devices.

@THeAstralCat usually means you didn't start the rshell service beforehand. Needs to be done outside of viper.

I have some new stuff coming soon! I will be showcasing some other tools outside Viper that are made by other community members.
Also, Viper is free. You can get it as soon as you start in multi-player. I have some guides on that process in previous videos.
