On March 17th, 2024, Valentino's career would change forever, as Eric Cruce took full advantage of the injured champion. In one of the most infamous moments in the history of our brand, Cruce delivered a neck-breaking, Brain-buster to Valentino through the announcer's table. Emerging reports at the time, showed Val to have suffered spinal contusions, and tonight, we can officially report that Valentino did in fact suffer a broken neck. Cruce went on to Empire Clash 2024, to eliminate Ryu Ace in singles competition, and now Valentino has challenged both of his brothers!
