This Iga vs Coco conversation is exhausting. Everyone including Coco wants the head to head to change but there is time! Rafa and Novak played each other 59 times and in the beginning it was lopsided. If Coco and Iga stay healthy, they will probably battle about the same amount over the next decade and there is no doubt it will start to even out. Coco has a lot of skills and a lot of room for improvement. That is scary to think about when you consider all she has already accomplished.

Or, It might become another Serena-Sharapova, Federer-Roddick scenario. Iga is only 2-3 years older and she's still improving. Coco on the other hand hadn't really improved much for the these last couple of years, so we'll see if Coco has already hit her ceiling or not. We shall see 🫢

@@Zarumaans anyone with a decent amount of common sense can tell that you’re an Iga fanatic that is biased. Coco has def improved which is why her ranking continues to go up each and every year. She is the only person in the top 4 to make it to the semis in the last 3 grand slams. Her biggest flaw is not being able to beat Iga but that does not define her. Just like Iga is not defined by not being able to beat Ostapenko. 3 years is a huge difference especially in tennis. When Iga won Roland Garros at 19 years old, that was her very first title. Coco had 1 major and 7 titles at the age of 19. So again, give Coco 3 more years.

@@Lederius18 And anyone with a sprinkle of intelligence can tell that you're a Coco Fanatic that is biased...Now back to the nitty the gritty.
      1) I'm not denying that Coco is currently one of the top players, hence her ranking. But the fact that her ranking has gone up doesn't necessarily mean she's gotten that much better, it can also mean that her competition has gotten worse but she's maintained her level.
      2) Despite their 3 years difference in age, Iga and Coco both played their first WTA tournament in 2019, so they basically started off at the same time at the highest level, yet Iga has achieved much more.
      3) Whether or not Coco's ongoing defeats againt Iga defines her is not relevant here. You said she will "undoubtedly" catch up with Iga in H2H which shows clear bias and make believe. Your further bias is exemplified by comparing their rivalry to Novak and Nadal as if every rivalry will follow suit them. I merely added a reality check of other rivalries like Serena-Sharapova, Federer-Roddick, and let me add Hingis-Sanchez while we're at it. So my point is that your claim that she will "undoubtedly" catch up with Iga is ludicrous. They've been playing each other for 4 years already and Coco still hasn't figured Iga out. And what makes you think Coco will keep on improving, but Iga won't?

@@Zarumaans to say coco hasnt improved much in the last couple of years is the dumbest thing ive ever heard. shes literally won a slam, a masters and made the semi finals of the last 2 grand slams. her post-maiden slam year is already MILES better than Iga's, Sabalenka's or Rybakina's post-maiden slam year. She also has winning records against Sabalenka and Rybakina.
