  • This video goes through an example of solving for mixed strategies Nash equilibrium. This example goes along with my video on evolutionarily stable Nash equilibrium:

Thank you for the amazing video! I'm wondering does this game have two pure strategy nash equilibrium of (Hawk Dove) and (Dove Hawk) as well? So if we were asked to find the NEs, do we present all three NE (both pure and mixed strategy)?

A very good video, thank you for that!
Could you please make a video where both players choose between diffrent strategies? I think that would help me to understand the intuition better. I watched your intuition video about this topic but I think making a video like this with different strategies would help me to understand it even faster.

so, does this then mean that player 1 should assume that player 2 will play Hawk, given a 75% probability, and should therefore play Dove? In which case, the Nash equilibrium is (D,H)?

What if the value of p comes out to be negative but q is positive and less than 1?
