Русский акцент напрягает больше, чем многие другие, это факт. Поэтому русских часто фильтруют - не из-за образования, фамилии или паспорта, а из-за такого ужасного анцента. Ну если вы, конечно, не IT. Если Вам приятно слушать как она говорит, значит, у Вас акцент еще хуже. RUclipsrов БЕЗ такого акцента уже, кстати, довольно много, как и просто молодежи. If somebody don't know, but many famous hollywood stars and people, almost a russian people or slav. people.
Mila Kunis - kid-immigrant from Ukraine.
Leonardo Di Caprio - half-russian, even if i remember - his mother and grandmother is russian, and they was a immigrants.
Mila Yoyovich - Russian too. But - if i remember correctly, she was a kid-immigrant.
Even a famous woman writer, philosopher and even a politic(?) Ayn Rand (Alisa Zinovieva Rosenbaum. Yes, Rosenbaum - which means she was russian-jewish person) , who wrote a two famous books - "The Fountainhead" and "Atlas Shrugged", was a russian immigrant.
And even after that, famous Bioshock series - was inspired by her books, and have critique on her philosophy.
Even a villain in first Bioshock - Andrew Rayan ( Andrey Rayanovsky ) was a actual man version of her, and even sometimes in game - says same words from her books and philosophy.
Even a Harrison Ford, Woody Allen, guys from Franco (like James Franco) family, Seth Green (yea, that guy who voiced "Joker" from Mass Effect Trilogy), Lenny Kravitz and his sister (Afrorussians?), Sean Penn, and etc. - actually a half-russians.
And even don't start me about your american innovations like the first helicopter - what is made by russian immigrant Sikorskiy.
And if i remember correctly Boyarsky - who is made a Fallout original games, is a half-russian (Boyarsky - even a common surname in russia and slav. countries), and Dan Trachtenberg ("Cloverfield Lane, 10", "The Boys") - have a russian-jewish blood, i think.
Even one of creators of Google - was a actually russian immigrant.
    So yea, fun facts... =P

It’s interesting to see. I’m learning Russian and in spite of the fact I currently speak 6 languages I find Russian one of the most difficult to learn.
When I finally travel there we’ll have to meet so you can show me your country and to help me speak more cleanly without an obviousness that I’m not a native Russian speaker

If you are an ultimate perfectionist and it tortures you, you can try different apps, Russian songs with subtitles, fary tales, poems, etc. Don't give up and good luck!

It is basically impossible to fully get rid of an accent if you are not raised with the language. I knew someone who I thought was native at first because he didn't seem to have any accent, but with certain sounds and new words the accent came out a little. Even with an accent most people would be impressed and excited, because it is rare to find someone who learns Russian outside the countries it is widely spoken

@@TayaUkraine Well in fact some words in Ukrainian are polonised so it can be a guess or an help to find the word in Polish but mostly the form of Polish words are typical and different from Ukrainian. Even if Ukrainian is not so so close from Russian, for sure, the Eastern Slavic aspect is first and obvious (for a long time I couldn't make the difference between Ukrainian and Russian, now I can), so to my ears Ukrainian and Polish seem rather different to me. If I can sometimes mix words in Polish and Ukrainian, this is more because I know the word in Ukrainian and I say it by purpose in a Polish sentence... because I want to finish the sentence ^^.

Ukrainian is not a nationality, this is citizenship. So the Ukrainian is likely to be Russian by nationality! But she can also be Jewish, Polish, Hungarian, Tatar ...

You should react to the American TV show Arrow. They speak a lot of Russian on that show and I always wondered if they did a good job

Since when is speaking English with a russian accent considered the russian language?

  • @subz6739

I speak both Russian and English language fluently with no accent…. Since I was born in America though and went to American schools, I was only taught about English and I learned Russian from my Mom. I still feel like English is a lot easier for me because I’m able to get all my thoughts out but with Russian, I just lack so much vocabulary. Like whenever I hear the Russian news playing, I can’t understand a thing because pretty much the entire clip he’s using smart vocabulary that I’ve never heard of in my life. I only know how to speak basic home Russian. I feel that because I’m entirely from Russian decent, I want to study my language extensively because every time I speak it I feel uncomfortable and like I’m not fluent enough… I can say the words perfectly but sometimes I might have a hard time getting my thoughts out the right way as like I said, I Lack vocabulary and sometimes I even mispronounce a bit.. Hopefully now that I live in the states, I can preserve my language through many generations.
