The relationship between Penny and Sheldon is wonderful... When she says to turn the napkin over she knows he's going to love it.. With his reaction, it's one of the best scenes in sitcom history... Love the content, take care.
It's so early on in the entire series, but the bath gift Christmas episode has always been one of my longterm favorites, and your reaction is exactly how I experienced it the first time when Sheldon hugs Penny.
@@eddiecactus1085 Yeah, I didn't like her. Still, there should have been an explanation. Or they could have just edited out the part where Leonard goes to sleep with her one last time so we believe that his text led to a break-up.
"Howard there's a blonde girl Patsy here to see you!!!" "Who?" "Okay now she's saying "it's Penny"!!!" "I don't wanna talk to her." "Hey." "Ma!!!" "She ran past me!!! Was I supposed to tackle her?!?" Oh my god I died laughing so hard 😂😂😂😂😂😂
...and the character Spock was half human/half Vulcan. Vulcan's are driven purely by logic and not emotion - a perfect role model for Sheldon growing up!
3:07 He want there 9:03 what was Penny first clue😂 17:53 Down goes Leonard 21:43 yeah that would do it 23:04 Awesome gift Penny! 24:43 Sheldon hugs Penny it's Christmas Miracle! 26:18 Surprise Penny 35:29 Penny punch Howard
Leonard Nimoy was the original actor who played Spock in Star Trek the Original Series. He was an icon of science fiction. He passed away a few years ago, so Sheldon having his DNA could be most beneficial for Humanity.
Sheldon hearing something and no one believing him also happens in Young Sheldon. Why they don't believe Sheldon's hearing when he's proven time and time again that he has great hearing is beyond me. 1:57 Except he didn't prepare for who'd get to go to Switzerland if Leonard got a girlfriend. He also didn't specifically write what constitutes a bathroom emergency. He also didn't prepare for the loophole in the part about how many people are allowed in the shower. But he fixes all of that later on. This is another example of Leonard and Sheldon failing to LOCK THE DOOR. This time, Leonard REALLY should have done it. 3:48 Yeah, but she's too stupid to do that. I personally wouldn't just barge into the neighbors' house to begin with. To make things even crazier, when Sheldon barges into her home, she says "Sheldon you can't just barge in." That happens in season 7 episode 2 I think. The girl who barges into her neighbors' home all the time tells Sheldon that he couldn't do it once. What a hypocrite. Whereas, at the end of the episode, when Sheldon wants herbal tea, he asks nicely. We might mock him for doing it by computer and not knowing that his larynx was fine, but he did it the right way. That's why I don't like Penny. 6:49 I'm glad you agree. It's important to find a girl who believes that. My one problem: Penny says she believes this, but her actions suggest differently when she and Leonard get together. Leonard makes sacrifices for Penny ALL THE TIME and she very rarely compromises for or does anything for him. When Leonard tries to communicate his feeling with Penny while they are dating, she shuts him up or makes him feel bad and stops talking to him until he apologizes. This is true even when Leonard is right... and unfortunately, 99% of the time, Leonard is right and Penny is wrong. That's the worst part. She's almost always wrong but she gets her way. So, while is true that Leonard's feelings matter as much as Stephanie's feelings, Penny's actions when he was dating HER suggest that she doesn't really believe it. It's possible that she never believed it and she only told it to Leonard so that he'd break up with Stephanie and then he'd be available for Penny. I didn't understand why Penny was looking at her watch. 10:14 That was really cool. Perfect timing! I don't think I've ever seen that from a reaction channel before. I didn't like Stephanie. At first I did, because she was smart and kind. But she was too needy and too pushy. She pushed for it to go way faster than Leonard wanted. She moved into Leonard's home and made changes to Leonard's home without his permission. She hid his bat signal. She bought itchy pants and made Leonard wear them. She performed a fake procedure on Sheldon. She got all teary when Leonard tried to communicate his feelings. She got Leonard the bird sweater and made him wear it. Good riddance. But they should have written her out more clearly. 11:41 They should have edited this out. They should have cut to commercial after Leonard said "I'll never have sex again." Stephanie never appears or is mentioned again after this. Without this part, that makes sense. Then, we assume that Stephanie was not okay with Leonard's text and she dumped him. As it is, the last time Stephanie is ever mentioned on the show is Leonard walking have to have sex with her. No explanation to what happened or anything. That is a very nonsensical way to get rid of her. I never heard it as "Hiney." I think Sheldon actually did make that typo, but I never ever heard it that way. 15:44 Yup. You learned. Penny didn't. I like you. 17:04 The world may never know. They did not make any effort to offer any kind of explanation. 18:00 That's because it's a Christmas episode. They want you to feel that way. 18:11 Really? So even back in season 2, Howard actually knew what a woman likes? You have to admit that's surprising. 18:41 That's because he wants to make sure that he gets it perfect. If he spends too much, he'll regret the money he wasted. If he spends too little, he might feel guilty about not giving Penny as much as she gives him and he might make her mad. He wants to get it absolutely right to avoid problems. It's an understandable issue. He just needs to learn that there are some things that aren't worth putting this much thought into them. Leonard Nimoy portrayed Spock on Star Trek. To the main guys on the show, especially to Sheldon, Leonard Nimoy is a God. And since you're currently reacting to season 9, you're going to learn more about him very soon if you haven't already. "The Bath Item Gift Hypothesis" is my all-time favorite episode. I love the scene where Howard and Raj walk in with all those gift baskets and Sheldon walks in with 1 basket and an ice cream cone. And I love the ending. It's hilarious, entertaining, and so heartwarming. I did not enjoy the whole-Penny-Leonard-David Underhill storyline, but the Penny-Sheldon storyline more than makes up for it. When the Sheldon storyline is as good as this, the other storyline doesn't really matter. Often times, Sheldon and Penny are better friends to each other than Leonard is to both of them. Little did Penny know that Howard was going to get married before she did. I get really mad when Penny says "Come on, that's not fair!" So she's saying Howard is worse than Kurt? It's extremely idiotic to say that.
What happened to Stephanie is a big mystery in TBBT. Maybe those episodes took place in a parallel universe where Leonard and Steph were dating, but the following episodes we return to the main universe where Steph and Leonard never met. Just a theory.
as someone that watched robot wars as a kid and then knew people in the rebooted series and battlebots. this episode always made me laugh. as for Penny punching howard hopefully he turns a corner from this haha/
I didn't like Stephanie either but that's the wrong reason. Yes, they can have neighbor friends, but Penny barged into their home without knocking or asking permission to come in, and while she wasn't wearing underwear, she was wearing provocative red clothing. And Leonard had never told Stephanie about her. So, Stephanie got an idea that may have been incorrect, but you can't exactly blame her. She wasn't in the wrong at all on that one. The person who was in the wrong was... Penny, for barging on in. One thing I hate about this show is that Penny barges on in all the time and NEVER even gets called out. She called out Sheldon one time that he did it but no one called out the MANY times she barged in.
@@ChristopherBingham-xx8xl well its been very much implied that she has an all access pass i guess. also i take offense to the "RED" is provocative comment u made
It's not all funny. I mean Howard does need a reality check and grow up. But Penny Said some very hurtful things. And anyone who's got low self-esteem can be hurt easily. But in the end saying the line. Your pathetic and you're going to die alone is harsh for anyone. I get it, she's not interested, and he needs to realize that. And that sometimes what he says is wrong. But she could have lectured him in another way. Not Shoot him with the gun and say you're going to die alone. That's heartbreaking and the worse insult ever.

The ending of "The Bath Item Gift Hypothesis" is truly the greatest comedy ending of TBBT.
The napkin reaction and hug is a candidate for the best scene in the whole series.
It gets my vote.

I had again a lot of fun!!! Finaly Penny told Howard how creepy he is! He needed that...
Agreeeeed
And Stephanie was never seen nor mentioned again. No explanation.
She was pretty manipulative to be honest, so not a big loss.
Perhaps she had to operate on herself.
Maybe there was a time jump in the timeline and everything that had to happen has already happened 😅
@@eddiecactus1085 Yeah, I didn't like her. Still, there should have been an explanation. Or they could have just edited out the part where Leonard goes to sleep with her one last time so we believe that his text led to a break-up.
A reaction to the Christmas episode is what I've been waiting for. It's my absolute favorite episode of the entire series.
Me too

I.... actually am not sure what happened to Stephanie
I love this ep
this was the start of my dislike for stephanie, one penny wasnt in underwear, its pajamas, and what? they cant have neighbor friends
