Half a million! Wow! I've got 10 of them I just made in my oops I mean found in my garden...
lol
Surely it will go for more than half a million, I think more like 750,000
Fantastic...shame no real news to report like why are fit healthy men women and children all over the world dropping dead or waking up permanently disabled lately..
Gold coins that is what you call real money Not the printed peases of paper today we call money
Really? This gold coin that is "real money" weighs less than 3g which means the gold is worth less than £150. The coin is expected to sell for £500,000 or more.
@@mattshuter3930 yes if you know about the history of "" money "" Gold has been used for money for the past 5.000 years. Why because it keeps its value. Even today that coin 3 grams. Even if its 150 British pound sterling. You can still buy many t-shirt jeans and so on. and that is after almost 850 years later. This coin was minted in 1230. or something like that. How many paper currencies you know that has kept their value for so long. Every Fiat currency sistem has always failed and always will. I hope you know what Fiat currency sistem. Is 500.000 pounds value is because of the history and the age of the coin. and because is very rare.
@@rogerburn5132 Gold is no longer hedge against inflation. Just check the price of gold from 10 years ago, pretty much hasn't moved. We all know how inflation spicked up all over the world but the price of gold hasn't moved much. Although it is much better than fiat.
what about gold staters in the iron age ?
Yeah, staters, Roman and Saxon gold. Plenty of British minted gold coins prior to this one.
