Amy is my absolute favorite character. As she gets more comfortable with the group, her desperation goes down, bit she still keeps the quirkiness that we all fell in love with.
Ikr I loved her character development, I remember seeing someone criticise how her character changed very suddenly but I don’t think it was sudden at all we saw her gradually become close to the group and settle down and grow as a person which is lovely to see

This first episode reminds me why I love Amy so much. Once you have accepted her as your friend, she is ride-or-die for you all the way. Whereas Sheldon cares but has trouble expressing it, often coming off as apathetic to his friends, Amy lets you know from the get-go that she'll be there when you call her at 3am and say you need help hiding a body, lol.

I relate to Amy on the lunch with the janitors. Throughout my 6th-12th grade years, the teachers and staff knew how much I got bullied and how unsafe I felt at school during lunch, so they would let me eat in the teacher's lounge with them. I would just listen to them talk to each other while feeling safer than being with the other students. However, the main students who bullied me came from wealthy families who donated a lot to the school, and therefore the pricipal and board would do nothing about those students or the people who struggled because of them. They all graduated without taking any class, just sat in bathroom and smoked weed. One of them even attacked a janitor who told them to go to class, and the janitor had to go to the Emergency Room. When the police showed up to ask what happened, the Principal said "Oh, he's old and sometimes misses a step, so he fell and injured himself". Yeah... My school was messed up, so I relate to a lot of these characters - at least on the aspect of having poor social skills. Although, college helped me greatly with that, but if I didn't go to the college I went to, I probably would still relate to these characters.

No spoilers Cody but incentive to finish the series for us to enjoy you enjoying it, but the series finale is one of the most satisfying 30 minutes I've ever seen. Which means you've got 8 more seasons of reactions to do sir. *nod nod*
That Penny and Raj story line was so strange. I think they referenced it once the rest of the show. It's like the writers realized it was a big mistake and just tried to ignore it the rest of the series. The majority of the fan base did not like it at all
It felt to me that they really intended to protray it as a mistake (one night stand). And also, it was referenced by Raj for several times throughout the rest of the series.
Why would anybody think that having their ex and their current together alone is a good idea?! They'll either become friends, talk smack about you or get into a fist fight, the gamble isn't worth it.
I mean, in Leonard's case it was good, if you don't have anything to hide and you're still friends with your ex, it's a way for your current not to feel jealous about it
Raj is not wrong about the Water Nymph. A LOT of Greek Mythology stories involve sexual liaisons between Gods (mainly Zeus!) and many different types of nymphs. The majority being water nymphs. Just look where Achilles came from! But he didn't come from Zeus. Shocking!

I am 6+feet and own my own IT company and as even top models and TV stars have said while hitting on me i am good looking. So if i dont have a life partner/in marrage then guys, dont worry it is the situation today with all the wokeness and you are not alone. Edit: Did the conversion and i'm 6,2feet aka 189cm. Also be honest, never lie and polite and there will be many good female friends and some who want extra, usually does not matter what you have or how you look (some of my not that good looking male friends who have listened to those recomendations do well too). NB Honesty means no possibility to use others as all is in open and agreed by both parties.

Season 4 with the addition of Amy made it great because it opened the show up for a female audience, including storyline among the three women.
