Parehong ok yan as I’ve owned a 3.0-litre D-max 4JJ1-TC manual transmission for 14 years. Wala akong masabi sa D-max. My odometer when I disposed it off was 251,000 km without any engine issues…. Sa Hilux 3.0 D-4D naman, I have driven them for most of the time as service pickups in every mine I have worked for. The Toyota are the most preferred brands for rugged work. Power delivery-wise, mas malakas ang Toyota Hilux compared sa Isuzu D-max even when they’re both 3.0-litre displacement back then, though mas fuel efficient ang D-max. The Hilux assigned to me back then were all in manual transmission trims and I love them without any complaints as well just as much as my personally owned D-max 3.0 DDI-iTEQ. At the current, I now drive a 2022 model Hilux Conquest 2.4-litre (2GD-FTV) manual transmission and love every bit of it, power-wise and looks-wise. Guapo ang mga Conquest series. Fuel efficient din that my average fuel consumption now is 13.8 km per litre after now more than 16,000 km of using it…. I also own a 2021 model 2.8-litre Toyota Fortuner LTD 4x4 with the more powerful 1GD-FTV engine, which is similar to the engines of the top-spec Hilux Conquest 4x4 and Hilux GR-S. Fuel consumption on the naturally auto-transmission Fortuner LTD is 10.8 km per litre so far after driving it for 40,000 km todate…. Pareho maganda ang Hilux at D-max in my long experience with both pickups though lamang ang Toyota sa styling or aesthetics in my opinion, and realistically, in resale value.
Isuzu owner here sir from Mu-x, Dmax to Isuzu Reward Elf, mas ma inam parin gamitin or bilin ang isuzu sir, never kang itatapon or ihuhulog sa palayan or bangin, Hilux mahina stabilizer ng mga yan,,
