    I’m just learning how to do lids.
    But the gallery one at around 5mins doesn’t match the gallery lid you trim at around 8mins? which made that lid difficult for me to understand.
    I’ll practice though, I’ve learned that’s the key. Thanks 😊

      @@NSG. update. My first lid today wasn’t brilliant. I’m putting it in a bisque kiln. I’m treating it as an Art installation called ‘Your first lid will be crap’ 🥸🇬🇧

    Are there specific situations where you want to use a particular type of lid?

      Yeah there can be! If the lid needs to serve a specific function then it probably maters. For example for a teapot you may want to have a lid with a long flange, so that it won’t fall off while pouring. There are, of course, cases where the type of lid could be a style preference as well. There are also lots of different types of lids other than the ones I show here, these are just what I feel are the most common. Thanks for your question and I hope this helps!
