An honest review, he explains the features and benefits and admits this is a different gun from the classic, with its own appeal to whoever will be buying these.
Non compatible magazines with the original Hi Power, non compatible magazines with the FN509, no light rail, no optics cut and a cost of $1200-1359. No thanks. This is NOT a “Hi Power” to say the least. This is an entirely different creature. FN, you failed.
I did already but they won't take a pre order without a release date. I can't find anything for a release date. I guess they haven't announced it. I haven't been this pumped for a pistol since I bought my rapide. Sign up for the updates at FN's website.
So they took all the features that made the original a great pistol (and beautiful ) and got rid of them and replaced it with a different gun that resembles a Hi Power in a cartoonish Fortnite looking pistol way. Thin and light has become thick and heavy. Oh and the old take down method of using the safety to lock slide back to remove take down pin was a great idea but they put a Sig like take down lever. Internal extractor? What’s with the business end and the hole in the front below the barrel for the recoil rod? I also think pistols with barrel locking lugs aid accuracy but FN wanted to make it cheaper to produce.
Thin and light? The hi-power is a full size steel service pistol that weighs over two pounds. It may be thin but they were never light. And this new pistol dimensionally has the exact same width or is slimmer than the old one. The extra six ounces is probably coming from the fact that it’s overall height is .6 inches taller I’m guessing to accommodate the 17 round magazine and it’s a quarter inch longer for some reason. I think 6 ounces is a fair trade off.
If its a completely new gun then why not a pic rail. Also I whould like to see an accuracy test to compare to the original high power and the sa-35 also the sa-35 is half the price.
Single action 2022 model bda , this is not hi power , buy springfield SA 35 if you want a classic better build bhp then second hand bhp or tisas zig 14 with polygonel barrel , this is not hi power

It looks great. I'm sure it will be high priced but, it is FN quality.
$1200 to $1400 depending on the finish
danielmicheal382238 got that in store

ハイパワーは一度生産終了したと聞いたけどリニューアルして復活したんだね。

I WILL be talking to my favorite gun shops about putting money on the table for one of these. DEFINITELY!

Add an accessory rail and an optics cut version already.
If you buy this at or above M.S.R.P. you WOULD be gettin' a good FN.

very very nice firearm...
Good job
Single action or double action?
Magazine safety?
It's still single action only with the magazine disconnect and hammer bite completely gone from this reimagined High-Power.
Ambidextrious
I want the stainless steel new FN Hi-Power improved. I would get it ported by Mag-na-port. Nice!
When will the high power be available?
Well, and where to buy it in eu?
Oh Dat stainless
Is it all stainless steel?

We have an sa35 and are trying to get one of these to compare them along with the eaa version.

Толковая пушка. Почём ценник?
$1100-$1300
Since nobody can pronounce ambidextrous, maybe they should just say “ambi”.
Good effort but not practical in 21st century
Pistol is the best
Is it +p or +p+ rated!? Does anyone know?
