Keep in mind that the Russian government has a HISTORY of lying in wait, stalking people for many years, maybe decades later from their first slight.. I know that Nastya has a younger brother, who recently became a dad. He served in the army and still is in military reserve. According to the Russian laws, there are absolutely no legal obstacles to prevent him to be sent to Ukraine. I think Nastya was blackmailed and threatened by her brother's life and security. I simply don't believe that she only cares for money. And this very tricky situation also explains well why she could not just leave the country and address the war. Exactly, I can't judge her. We don't know what they did to her during the time she disappeared but we can imagine. For some reason she couldn't escape Russia, so now has to do this so as not to get hurt. It's easy to judge when people are not in the person's shoes. She sounds more broken, than like a sell out. A sell out has a choice, it doesn't look to me like she did. Imagine the horrid thins that would happen to her in prison, and that may have already happened to her after that party; not to mention also the harm that I am sure that they would do to her family members too. My hope for her is that she one day manages to flee the country.

I feel really sorry for Nastya and I really hope she will go through this shit 'cause, in my opinion, all she wanted is to save everything from collapsing and stay with her friends and family. People tend to dehumanise celebrities and judge them based on their decisions like "She literally is a millionaire and had a chance to escape", right, she really had a chance, but there are things like family, friends and fear for them. The most heartbreaking thing, in my opinion, is that Nastya was bullied from both sides - the pro-government one who wanted her to be hardly punished and the pro-peace who were mad 'cause of her actions, and the bullying does not seem to be over. Like, I am also pretty upset about her new emploi, however, I hope when the war is over she will share her story and tell everything that is behind the curtains. I think she still has her pro-peace views since she slightly spoke about it in the interview. I hope so.

It happens every war basically. Jane Fonda was cancelled as well being pro peace although she went a bit far and actually did kind of propaganda for the Viet cong in Vietnam. She did help end the war and likely saved 1000s of soldiers lives. For the Vietnam Vets though, she will always be remembered as a traitor.

I know a dance instructor with quite a few wealthy Russian students. He enlightened me on their mindset. You are either high enough that they have to look up to you or low enough for them to SPIT upon. These celebs are the ones who spit on the plebs.

RUSSIA is a very class conscience society and MOST are spit on by the rich
To them you are just trash under their feet

This is what happens when "it's offensive" is weaponized by the government, it's just that in Russia the ones calling the shots are the hyper traditionalists.

Considering her past political statements and that suspicious period of radio silence, I wouldn't be surprised if she was pressured into doing this out of fear for her own or even her family's safety. She already had fans that supported her before this, so I don't see how this change is profit-motivated. I wouldn't judge too harshly
