@@y10e.v16 You're not quite understanding what I meant. I made this video to use for myself, for when I would want to sleep. I decided since it worked so well to upload it to RUclips for everybody to use and benefit from.
I wish we got to spend more time in the castle, to be honest it was the best part of the game for me.
I feel like Dimitrescu got too much time, while the rest of the lords barely got any. But that's just my opinion

Same. The first time I played I didn't know any of the story line so the Dimitrescu save rooms became my safe place when my anxiety got too high

A snow covered forest trail, a full moon to light the path, a warm hoodie, the gentle feel of the wind on your face as you succumb to the inner peace of solitude, and this song
It’s so calming and chill, yet has just enough of a mysterious and sort of unknown feel to it, like Ethan doesn’t know what lies outside the save room door waiting for him, he can breathe and know he’s doing it for the best reason possible. And then he opens and steps out the door.
This is how every save room feels like in the Resident Evil games.
Anyone else hearing the save room theme from RE4 mixed in here deep?
For me it's more like RE 1 remake and Zero.
@Megan Todd its when you're actually saving the game, when its typing and all that. there are similar notes between the two themes.

Even though it's a horror game, visting Castle Dimitrescu just feels like coming home no matter how many times I replay it ❤

I love how there's a subtle nod to RE4 in there.
Yeah it’s like this game is the true RE 4 sequel that 5 should’ve been. Interesting depressing lore and backstory about a village where groups of people that were once human and subtle horror music and atmosphere.
Have this on in the background of my math class everyday - helps to keep the room chill. It makes even a chaotic day feel peaceful.

At the beginning there was a sound on the piano, I thought some kind of analogue from resident evil 4 would go, but the game has its own atmosphere. I think the same atmosphere will stick in the remake of the 4th part.

This game was good, it could have been better. The castle part, along with the industrial area was great. But the castle alone would be enough. Al the boss thing felt more like a castlevaniva sort of game.

The current safe room melodies are enjoyable, but they don't quite capture the haunting and soul-devouring atmosphere of the music in the early Resident Evil games. IMHO

Me too, but you had to kill them because it made sense that you have to do it for the sake of saving Ethan’s daughter. You’re playing as the hero of this game and kidnapping can’t be justified.
