From your videos one thing I'm clear in my mind.. buy a vehicle is the one thing and use the vehicle is the another game changer. For this you become a chhota mota mechanic.. otherwise your journey become a trouble incase you are with family. I think I'm not good enough to take a tour with family for long ride because i know nothing ... As you share in this video about tools. But when I'm ready then definately plan long tour on regular basis. Again.. thanks for sharing brother.
Brother.. you really deserve one million subscribers.. very soon in coming years you will definitely achieve. Your videos and tricks, technique are very good. Best of luck. Keep travelling..and stay happy.
Very good information. You always give very useful information on road trip thanks for that. For SUV one more thing must be carried ie brake fluid tubing or hose which supply brake fluid to wheels, it is very small and fragile tube that supply brake fluid to wheels. I had seen in one video of xuv 5oo where it got damaged & the whole fluid was drained and the traveller got stuck in sela pass road trip for couple of days until the new tube arrived from tejpur. Secondly along with mosquito repellent which you had shown one must also carry mosquito repellent cream like Odomas cream...Thanks. keep travelling , keep enjoying 👍👍
Thanks a lot for the appreciation. And yes your inputs are good. But brake fluid piping is mostly metal. It is flexible only near tyres. That hose is of different lengths so it's a bit difficult to carry as a spare. Plus most cars have a diagonal braking backup system in primary reservoir. if one side ruptures and leaks the other side will still keep working. So you have to be very unlucky to get stuck in such a situation. But still a valid scenario. I'll check it out in my car. Again thanks for the input..
Thanks for a very informative and lucid video. One small suggestion in the torch department would be the inclusion of a "HEAD LAMP/ TORCH" which i have seen in your vehicle earlier
Just perfect, clean and precised information... Love it. Just a question, do you carry spare fuel for the vehicle, and if so, how? and what are the norms to carry it?
Could you please let me know what is the length of tow strap - 15 ft or 25 ft ? Also is there any issue with butane stove if travelling between extreme conditions (e.g. while travelling to very cold place in high altitude or a very hot place ) ? Do you plan to take anti skid mat in future to prevent wheel slip in extreme condition ? If so which one do you suggest
Thanks for watching. My strap length is around 12 feet. Longer straps need proper rated recovery points. Which stock indian cars dont have. The gas stove is ok. Using it for over 2 years now in cold and hot weather. Just protect it from direct sunlight in closed car for safety. Rest no issues till now . And frankly I don't have any any skid mats coz local brands are quite useless and imported ones are very costly....
Very informative video. I stumbled upon your channel ony few days ago but seen almost all your videos. Hats off to you for posting such useful content. On a lighter note .... do something for the moss on the roof also. Black roof heats up the house. 🤣🤣
Avoid, especially if you are at home. While on road make sure you keep the cans in shade. Like in the boot or under the seats. Overall the can thickness and quality is quite good but still never expose to direct sunlight inside a car.
Yup but India it can be managed if planned properly. In general with a full tank you can get a range of 5-600 kms. And most of the time you can manage a fuel pump within that range. Except for areas in laddakh and spiti.. but yes taking an extra jerrycan of fuel is a good Idea. Thanks for Input 😊😊
Nice information Ashish sir, this helps a lot. Can you also put some light the aspect of navigation and maps. What planning study you do while planning a trip to remote area. If a car has satellite connectivity driven navigation then one may not have hard time. But if someone is going on Google internet driven navigation, once network goes Google maps don't work. in such I guess prior homework might come to help and we can carry some documentation for routes and maps
Hello thanks for watching. Regarding directions I do 2 things before going to any remote area. 1: RESEARCH THE AREA. Once the destination is finalised. Before leaving I try to gather as much info as possible about the area. Internet has all the info available, just devote a little time to look out for places where you can stay, fuel stations, weather conditions, local dos and don'ts etc. 2: MAKE THINGS AVAILABLE OFFLINE. don't depend on internet when you are out. There is an option to "download offline Google maps" in the app. That will help a lot when net is down. If you can take the prints of hotel bookings with contacts and list major towns enroute with distance. I dont have satellite navigation but this helps all the time. Hope it helps you too. Take care
Camphoor Mosquito and bug repellent also....also repelled bacteria or fugus in some extent.... Your breath ing speed also increase... specially in hilly area... It's multipurpose thing

On a lighter note .... do something for the moss on the roof also. Black roof heats up the house. 🤣🤣

The links of all the products are given in the video description. You can check it out. Gas Stove canisters are available easily online.
What are the measures taken for long parking of vehicle containing gas stoves...... particularly in summer?
Avoid, especially if you are at home. While on road make sure you keep the cans in shade. Like in the boot or under the seats. Overall the can thickness and quality is quite good but still never expose to direct sunlight inside a car.
I think even fuel can is also important in remote area

Good suggestion , information gathering about the area you travel is most important.
Can you please share the link for knife? i need to buy similar one. thank you
if u are carrying cooking gas...then u have to carry cooking utensils also....otherwise there will be no use of gas stove
You may keep camphor in the car. It will help you to ignite and keep the fire on.
Yup..Thanks for inputs
Camphoor Mosquito and bug repellent also....also repelled bacteria or fugus in some extent....
Your breath ing speed also increase... specially in hilly area...
It's multipurpose thing
From where you install water jug & food box in your car
There is a video on my channel on how I installed water tank in rear door. You can check it out. Thanks...
What will be cost of all the items you suggested ?
