Would love some more antique booth content
more to come then! Real soon!
My brother and spouse own an antique store in Stillwater, Mn (American Gothic). Historic logging town so a great place for antiquing. Lots of tourists all year long. We grew up going to second hand stores so we have always had the "bug" in our family. My wife and I have had a booth there for a number of years. We do 6 days of work a month between us as well as a monthly fee. Easy duty. I am retired so I do 4 of them but mainly watch over the upper floor. Open locked cases and answer questions. As I said easy duty. Also do EBAY so there is always a reason to go thrifting. Enjoying the videos. Been a fan for years.
What’s the average monthly cost for a booth? Just curious.
cant go into too much detail about this bc other booths watch my vids but I can say it's between $200-400/month
Thx for the info! Is that paycheck including the rent payment deduction?
no, the rent is due in the beginning of the month. the amounts I talk about on the video are after the commission has been taken out. I only put 1-3 hours in the booth a month - (I will be putting more in 2024) but if you do the math, the booth per/hr is super worth it.
I'd love to see another video on the next check, thanks! Really enjoyed this one:)
Coming soon! I pick up the check tomorrow and another video will come out!
Luv the antique booth content. Like to see the booth again & your setup there & the inventory. Great video! Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed! The Antique mall gave me the green light to film there actually. I think I will!
Will most antique malls allow items that are not vintage or antique? What is the general rule in regards to what you are allowed to sell in your booth?
You purchase antique things if any one want sell
How much is the booth fee?
cant go into too much detail about this bc other booths watch my vids but I can say it's between $200-400/month - lol you can text me tho!
Where’s your booth? Could you touch on booth fees? Understanding prices do vary in placement in mall but doesn’t seem to be a topic many touch on. How you choose the mall you did, space, theft%, approximate # items in booth, etc. Thanks! Your videos are always a joy and I always keep my eyes out for y’all when treasure hunting in Austin.
My father’s family are Austin breed and I would visit for weeks couple times a year as a kid.
My favorite antique shop is in Austin, Uncommon Objects! I remember as a kid sneaking over there and exploring. This was back when they were on Congress and sooo much smaller and more honey pot prices. Good times and treasures.
cant go into too much detail about this bc other booths watch my vids but I can say it's between $200-400/month
booth is in the Austin Antique Mall #199
My first time here. Great content!
Very productive booth. Great video. Tks
Thank you for watching. The booth revenue vs the time I put in is great. I could focus more on it and perhaps I will in 2024.
Filling out those tags 🏷️ is Kinda like printing money 💴
yeah especially when all these items aren't expensive to acquire. It's a tad like creating money
Where is your antique mall, I travel a lot and I’d love to support.
Austin Antique Mall #199
First time commenter here but regular watcher! You are doing a GREAT job at your booth which is not an easy thing to do sometimes, congrats! I am in the Round Rock area and an antique mall near me has openings but man oh man the rent seems high, as well as 13%. I may see if they are negotiable at all. Would you mind disclosing the name of your Antique Mall. I'm new to Texas so still trying to find my way around!
Thank you so much! I am in the Austin Antique Mall - as far as I know it's 10% but could be more.
@@TheBonafideHustler1 Thank you for the info! I'll come check the place out soon!
I have a buddy who owns a consignment store in a rural town and even though it only accounts for probably 10% of my overall sales they're the most satisfying. He doesn't capture even close to the retail amount so im selective about what I bring and the commission is hefty (sales are split 50/50) but I always look forward to that printed sheet to see what sold.
yeah I think this sums it up well. You won't make a killing with a booth but it's really fun and you get paid well for basically a hobby
@@TheBonafideHustler1 Your sales are actually a bit more then that in your booth.. im surprised how much of retail you capture there.. its more then ebay it seems like in some cases. Nice work!
I like these videos of what sold. More please
a second video came out yesterday where I go over a $1173 2 week check. Hope you can catch it. New guide also came out: thebonafidehustler.gumroad.com/l/antiqueboothstobucks/LAUNCH
I need to look into renting a booth.
I plan to make a super guide (inexpensive too) about booth business. Should come out on the 15th
How much rent for month?
cant go into too much detail about this bc other booths watch my vids but I can say it's between $200-400/month
Good Stuff!
Glad you enjoyed it - more vids on the booth to come!
love these thanks
You are so welcome! I appreciate you stopping by!
First! 😀
you're blessed with the ultimate cheddar luck!
Can please, please, show us the booth?
I would love to see this. Sounds better than selling at a flea market . Keep up the great videos!
Jay
yes I can actually film from the booth real soon. The staff gave me the green light
Ah yes. Christopher Cross. I remember his big hit, She Breaks the Wind!
CC - what a legend!
Your videos always make me feel like I'm part of something bigger, thank you for that.
Happy to hear that! - probably filming another video after I get the next check!
