Does it happen when you copy and print to the machine? If it only happens when you copy, then there is something wrong with the CIS (scanner). If it happens with copies and prints, it could be a couple of different things. Most likely would be a bad main board.
Pretty cool tut however i have a question I did all the steps but I get an error saying that the fuse is not installed and to check the back door. I check it's properly place so I have no idea what's wrong.
When you remove the fuser and look at the bottom metal plate you should se two small pieces of plastic about 1/2 inch long. When installed correctly, these push in on 2 separate interlocks on the HVPS just below it which tells the machine that the fuser is installed and that the fuser door is closed. If you need a picture of this part, just send an email to mrizer@iteminc.com.
