Nice footage. Thank you for taking me back. The first time I tried this I was 11 years old and wearing Converse All Stars High Tops. It was 1964. I lost my nerve about halfway up (where it gets a little steeper). I was the only one in my camp group that chickened out. In the 70s I got myself job in the park and climbed Half Dome by this and 2 other routes along with many other peaks. I stopped climbing back then. I am still alive. It helps to realize the limits of one's obsessions.
