And you should have gone to st Augustine.... It's gorgeous and all the little shops on st George Street are cool, and the Castillo de San Marcos is awesome

I live in Florida... I own a property in palatka area but live with my boyfriend and our son in cocoa... Currently looking for a van to do this with part time.... My main concern is staying cool inside the van on hot days though

I recently bought some window coverings from Amazon that are supposed to let air through, however, I don't like sleeping with my windows down, I will cracked but not all the way down. So I'm not sure what it will be like this summer!

Let me know when you’re in LA County, and I’ll take you up to Crystal Lake in the San Gabriel Mountains.

That campsite looks amazing, did you have to reserve it through the water mgmt district beforehand or were you able to walk up?

Yeah you have to put a reservation in for any campground managed by one of the water districts. Nice thing registration is free! Kicco was pretty wide open reservation wise, the other was a little more popular. I think this is due to Kicco being down an 8 mile dirt road to get to but so worth it!

I average 20 mpg with my cargo carrier. Sometimes more on long drives on the interstate at 65.
