    So much useful information. We are blessed to be stewards of Gods marvelous creation!
    Just another reason I behind the MO boys. They care more about enhancing creation and adding to it, then just taking from it.

    Also this makes perfect sense naturally. Those natural fires set by lightning strikes didn’t just happen in the early spring when many of us burn. They happened year round when prairies were on the landscape and contained fuel much of the growing season.

    Are all of these studies done in pine areas? I tried a growing season burn one time and while it was in closed canopy pre TSI hardwoods it wouldn't even light much less burn. Im in central Illinois and I cant imagine any kind if a real growing season burn. I've not tried on our heavy TSI property.
