Why would you give someone something so important as collateral when you know you’re not gonna uphold the deal? Also look how they can calmly talk about Ky who actually disrespected them but have so much hate talking about the women
I think that was before X changed Big D's mind. I also agree it is messy to see the misogyny that is at play with these 3 men. A podcaster I listen to said they will never know peace once leaving the house and I have to agree.

KY 1000% was trying to make a statement by taking the ring. His way of saying, "you done effed up." He could have left it in his pocket if he was gonna keep it, but instead had to be dramatic and take off and pocket it right in big ds face on live tv. Such a crappy move. (He def should have thought twice before giving KY that ring if it was so important to him. )

I hope Big D asks for it back during the finale. Kyland had two rings on and specifically took Big D's. It was a dumb move to give someone else something so sentimental, however it is a spiteful move to keep it because things didn't go your way.
He started off by saying it was sentimental and then he wrapped it up with well I can just get another one. He really didn't seem that concerned about Ky having it.

that's pretty much exactly what happened lol.
the problem is that this sort of things is frowned upon in BB because it can be considered a bribe. Say someone goes in the house with a bunch of expensive jewelry and just buys all the votes - that would take away from the actual gameplay.
I can only think of a couple other times it happened and both times the items were returned on finale night.

If the ring truly meant so much to Big D then why would he use it in the game? I would never trust anybody who offers a swear or a "sentimental" item. A handshake should be enough.

Why? He graduated from the academy, not the college. So he was 18 when he got out of military school. He’s 28 now, it’s unlikely he would still look like a cadet 10 years later if he isn’t training like one.

Correct if I’m wrong, but Azah game may not be that impressive, but I don’t believe Derek f carried her. He’s done a few things for her, but not everything.

If u give something to someone something as collateral for a vote you can’t be mad if the cash in when u went against what the collateral was for. If Ky thought it was no big deal and he was doing nothing wrong or immoral, he would not have been so sneaky about it. Any of Big D's actions don't matter, he should not have pocketed the ring. This is a dramatic way of explaining it, and Big D is no victim and Ky is not a criminal (that I know of but he's one of the weirdest houseguests in a long time)... however....we don't blame the victim when a crime happens to them. Again- that is a dramatic way of saying it but it's just to compare and give context. If Ky thought it was all good and he was doing nothing wrong, he would not have tried to hide his actions.
