It's absolutely beautiful, and the battle scars on them as well...The guy who clearly hasn't washed the last massacre off of his armour is terrifying, especially with those tiny, human sized bloody handprints...and the body horror is so masterfully done as well. and the way he has done the character design...Showing us their faces in such obscured ways that we can still see exactly who they are, without any fear of it possibly falling into the uncanny valley...It's top tier, S Class designing!

I like seeing the Mechanicus. I always wondered what they looked like besides videogames. Look metal as hell. I could never imagine completely modifying myself to be barely human. Guess living forever is a good perk though.
The most terrifying part for this was when one of the cultists looked out a window and into the warp. There are demons and warp entities crawling all over the hull of the ship. It's like they're in a submarine diving into the depths of an ocean inside hell.
Yeah that got me too, but it's also what sucked me in. That's exactly how lore describes the warp. Bad, BAD shit. And in this case there's a truce of sorts, imagine if this were a loyalist ship with no Gellar field, and no protection from the "gods" GW needs to step back from taming and humanizing it. The Immaterium is populated and ruled by malevolent, near-unknowable entities and their servants existing beyond any conception of natural law or order. _This_ is what it's like
@@jakeg3733 Even Chaos/Traitor ships use Gellar fields, and it's heavily implied that deeper into the Warp, there are beings even older and more powerful than the Chaos "Gods".
Psychopaths don't believe that they've done anything wrong. A person that disfigured by the warp should have ended their lives long before. Now she is tainted, knows it, knows the threat she is to everyone around her, yet still believes she isn't the one cursed. Her love for the child outweighs her love for the Emperor, with whom she only calls out to in order to save the baby, knowing full well that the abomination should have been smothered and cleansed in fire when it was birthed. She would forsake the Emperor the moment she found someone or something that would give her hope to save the child.
@@brainplay8060 The Horrifying thing is that you are right. Death would be a gift and a loving mercy to such warp tainted beings. Furthermore in the whole how is the woman the psychopath you use as example when you have literal Wordbearers and World Eaters on this warship?

I almost tore his head off."
Hello from the Warhammer fan from Russia. It is absolutely stunning. What I especially appreciate is the way you managed to show the Chaos, its true horrifying nature. The problem about books or "encyclopedia-type" videos is that none of them could give the real undestanding of all those hellish horrors that hide behind this word, "Chaos". You absolutely DID IT. All this hopeless atmosphere and whole material feed give an opportunity to feel like I am right there, on that ship, and that feeling creeps me out. Great job done on details, every single rust stain is alive and the darkness of that world is seen in every minute. I hope I made myself clear to understand, thank you so much! Hoping to see the complete story.

@Imperial Judesmen138 while watching this for some reason the hairs on the back of the head started to tingle and i felt an urge of PURGING all the way damn.
The reason heretics are turning worlds to Chaos is that people living on Imperium worlds are poor, miserable and believe they have nothing to lose. They are wrong, of course, they will lose their bodies and souls, but they are not very imaginative...
*1. corpses on the outside of the ship are stuck there due to astartes magboots, giving a glimpse of the previous boarding assault fight on the hull.* *2. marines in floors and walls are due to either a blind, rushed, or warp interferenced teleport assault attempt.* -both of these make it seems like the fight was a last ditch effort assault just so they could potentially get a few men on board to sabotage or to break out and warn the next planet where ever they exit the warp from. *3. blipping demons, old school bloodletter, and mutated mother/child are because there is no gellar field on while they're warp traveling (makes sense given they're wordbearers)* *4. dark mechanicus guy says there's an intruder messing around with the ship: either a surviving ultramarine or maybe that nightlord astartes perched over the pit (could be loyalist).* -more than likely the first since the guy in the cell asks the ultramarine if he's recovered after he finds out they're close to the next planet/about to exit warp, as if ready to spring their own plan. *5. torso ultramarine over pit is probably the captured captain from part 2 that welcomed wordbearers onto planet; now being forced to watch his captured brothers fight/die in the pit.* -he has his imperial laurel nailed to his head, probably in mockery , and the ultramarine in the pit is wearing his while fighting with two "Macragge" ultramarine signature axes *6. normal guy in cell is probably a captured ultramarine initiate based on his shoulder armor and dialogue with the world eater; "aspire to become one with the 13th legion".* - also says he doesn't need to be modified to go toe to toe with the world eater, referring to either the gene seed needed to become an astartes or the butchers nails. *7. same guy recognizes the ultramarine walking with the wordbearers and is in disbelief; astarte in next cell tells him its a wordbearer that's just wearing his armor; "a lie".* -at the end, you can see both the imprisoned astartes armor being worn by the wordbears and Nakal, as shells that they will "march onto the streets of neighboring worlds" MK1 Terminator and gal vorbak were a great touch as well. Phenomenal animation: liked and subscribed.
6. "Normal guy in the cell" just an auxiliary mortal soldier of Ultramar. Guilliman made an army for 500 worlds, and most of it was just mortal soldiers and tankers. Not only Astartes defend Ultramar.
6:15 You know that you've got the most dedicated, most nerdgasmic fan of old-school 40K when you see a Saturnine Tactical Dreadnought armour brought to life... My heart is racing, I'm close to tears. Thank you.
Astartes, Helsreach, Death of Hope... Animators in this community have stepped their game up so high that I honestly doubt GW can even catch up. Look at this, that mother scene and the ritual going about nearby her alone was more brutal and grimdark than half of this setting. Demons from warp flickering in and out, Hereteks roaming about, Marines that actually look as scary as they are supposed to be, good representation of the animosity people have against each other in the setting, and for once Chaos is actually the ultra fucked up universal terror it is rather than a Saturday night cartoon villain. Thank you, this 20 minute glimpse into the grimdark represents how it is supposed to be far better than it's creator does.
I loved the fact that chaos is not only depicted as the horror it actually is... But not fascinatingly either. Is THE chaos, the pure, anedultoreted evil that broke the spine of the Dream the Imperium was supposed to mean.
I really love that you don't shy away from the more gruesome aspects of 40k. I feel like you're the only animator that could get the Dark Eldar down right
@CanadianDoomer and yet both Slaanesh and the Dark eldar are toned down in media. Which sucks cause I like dark things to balance put the factions like the Space Wolves and other more nobler factions
Whats so amazing about this is how the creator has made marines into being actually really f**king scary. Even the ultramarines look scary. It really captures this sense in the books of transhuman dread. That these beings are so ascended beyond a normal human, that people are like insects. There is many comparisons I read between this and astartes. I like everyone else enjoy astartes, its very polished. But Death of Hope OOZES atmosphere, the world it creates is such an authentic representation of the grim wh world. Normally I dont like too much deviation from 'normal' space marine appearance. But the detail in DoH, its really awe inspiring. I love the art so much, but something worries me, surely only one touched by the warp could produce such dire majesty. Summon the Inquisition!
This is an excellent point. This does at least attempt to convey transhuman terror and an uncartoonish grim dark asthetic. Makes one realise how watered down the supposed grim dark is by comparison.
@MrCSP24 best and weirdest part I find is that their rib cage is like a carapace instead of ribs and covers most of their torso (under the skin) as well as all their blood is slightly corrosive.
While the other animations are action packed and cool, this one is the only one that makes me say to myself "OH HELL NO!" then " That's cool!" then instantly "NOPE NOPE NOPE!!". The designs and quality are so...horrifically beautiful. Most horror stuff now is garbage, but this made my skin crawl.
“In the grim darkness of the far future there is only the Death of Hope.” Mark, this is a truly stunning piece of art you have lovingly crafted here. Your tireless adherence to exquisite detail and in-universe authenticity is without peer and sets a new bar of animated story telling in the universe of the Horus Heresy and wider Warhammer 40,000. Never before have I seen these stories and art brought to life with such power and utterly uncompromising and brilliant clarity. Your Astartes and Mechanicum are how I imagine them in the minds of the Black Library authors and of course, the late great Alan Bligh. The depictions of the neverborn daemons are inspired and connect to the deepest, darkest lore of 40K and took me vividly back to the Realm of Chaos books Slaves to Darkness and Lost And The Damned. I offer my heartfelt appreciation and most admiring compliments to you and those who contributed towards the incredible creation the is “Death of Hope”. It is a grimdark masterpiece! A final personal note. I cannot find the words right now to express how completely overwhelmed and honoured I am to see you mention my humble content in your dedication. Imagination is perhaps the greatest of gifts to give and to see you say so is a moment I will always treasure and remember. Thank you Mark.
That was beautiful. And well deserved, the honour and respect that travelled in both directions between the two of you. You are both paragons of the Horus Heresy fan world, and as creators of original content yourselves, have both contributed immeasurably to my own personal enjoyment of it- and I’m also honoured to have corresponded with both of you, however briefly, through your channels. As high as the regard is in which I hold the both of you, I’m always blown away by how down to earth and accessible you guys are. It speaks to your character, mainly- that you’re both willing to share thoughts and ideas with those of us who are not as talented or knowledgeable as you guys, but love the grimdark, amazing world that Bligh and company have given to us to enjoy, with the same devotion and passion. This was an amazing piece of work, and something that I’ll watch countless times (as I did with the prologue) until part 2 premieres. I have been waiting for this for so long, but I have to say, that it was more than worth the wait. Just incredible, Mark. And I got such a great feeling when I saw that dedication at the end, and recognized the banner and models before even hearing Leaky’s voice- I just thought- how incredibly appropriate, and fitting. Anyway- thanks for all of the thousands of hours of work that obviously went into the production of what Leakycheese rightly named a “masterpiece.” This is a one of a kind - and will have a place of honour in the lore and works of the Heresy that we all know and love.
I watched this again 3 years later and I think the amount of effort that went into this should not be underscored. Someone was trying to share their vision of something. I appreciate it.

@Zoomer Waffen Cope my dude. You do realize the film isn't canon, right? I don't think it's bad for the film to take inspiration from other sources. Hell, there barely is even a canon in 40K anymore because it's been changed so much over the years. 40K started out as a giant meme fest of British cultural references. Two scenes that stuck on me, first the cultist /daemon glitching and teleporting when the Word Bearers passed by. It really captures that warp fuckery shenanigan's from what the lore said. The atmosphere, the voices, the art style, the animation *EVERYTHING* is on point. Man-Emperor bless the Warhammer 40k fanbase, especially to you and your team, Mark.
The mother and baby was what really stuck with me. Man it really shows just how fucked up the warp is and you wonder the reason for what sick twisted reason they are keeping her on the ship mutating like that. Absolutely brilliant.
Guys, there are other 40k animations that are nice, especially Astartes, but this one... Damn, here we find the madness of encapsulated heresy, the violence and horror of the warp spread throughout the material universe, in such an unhealthy way... it's perfect. Visually as well as in the atmosphere, it's exactly as I saw Horus' Heresy... Mark, you point out that the animations are perfectible, ok, but the amount of work you had to put in to get this result transpires..., the details of the environments, the armors, the characters, damn it's huge! Get some rest man, because you deserve it, you've just delivered the best visual representation of Horus' Heresy (and even 40k I dare say) we've ever seen. Thank you, and Bravo.
This still should have blown up more. This should have been a whole damned series. To date, no warhammer 40K animation has captured the utter despair of the universe like this. It's perfection.
@@MizantropMan I'm talking about how the warp and its brutality is portrayed here, not the actual animation or anything. But yeah Astartes has much better animation

Because nu-Warhammer under the current GW wants to make everything heroic and noblebright again, and that gives out a certain perception to newcomers. Also are the newcomers demanding for more brightness and hope.
To be fair there needs to be a rise before there can be a fall, that's tragedy 101. 40k wouldn't be tragic without the highs of the Dark Age of Technology, and basically everything that happened while the Emperor wasn't stuck on his throne. I can understand why narratively, they would want a rise again before another fall. It just needs to not be contrived
@Tharr Mortus Thousand Sonds is one of my favorite HH books at all, because despite been the ol'self-fulfilled-prophecy with the classic tragic twist. you can still relate to everything that happens, specially if you are a person who consider knowledge one of the most relevant and important traits. Without spoiling you how the novel ends, I would consider that "Thousand Sonds" won't be the moment that Magnus fall, rather I would say it´s just one more stepping stone. And the Lovecraftian elements to how a Word Bearers ship is a totally messed up place where the warp bleeds through was done perfectly. This is so loyal to the Horus Heresy Books it is amazing, I always knew the Word Bearers were messed up and their ships were nasty but holy god-Emperor! this is what 30k/40k should be, grimdark to the core. This was awesome!!
To be fair - tabletop by itself isn't that brutal. Novels and other literature on the other hand... @Godzilla 123 Yeah, you're gonna need Heavy Bolter for this heresy...
I don't think anyone has acknowledged the scene with the girl and her baby being the same girl and baby that ran past the ultra marines in death of hope trailer 2, this is what chaos did to her when they took her prisoner and that little continuance and detail is what really makes these videos so special mark.
However hard I tried imagining Warhammer, the full weight of the images eluded me until now. This was what my mind was trying and failing to conjure. By the Emperor's light, we need more! P.S. You're an inspiration.

I stand in awe of the art and dedication for these animations...I do wish you'd continue making them....but this is your creation. I wish GW would realise its thanks to the creative minds like yours that created free marketing for them instead of what they're doing now. Anyway, dude, you're the best. They got a, relatively speaking, minor scolding. A finger wagging. A slap on the wrist. A bit of an ego nipple twister. What did they do? Turn to Chaos. They have the least amount of "good reason" to turn, yet they are the most awful of all the legions that turned to Chaos. I simply find it extremely difficult to ever sympathize with them as a legion. They have the weakest minded, willed and even physically speaking Primarch. Ultramarines did nothing wrong. If anything they didn't do a thorough enough job.

This work has been blessed by the Emperor, the Four Chaos Gods, and the Machine God. The grimdark despair clearly shines a light on just how gruesome and terrible the Warhammer 30-40k universe really is. So many scenes in this capture the pure essence of Word Bearer evil, the horror of the warp, the transhuman dread of Astartes, and so much more. In modern 40k, Chaos has been relegated to meme jokes where we laugh at Abaddon. That or we see these "fix bayonets" memes that completely takes away from the intimidation factor of Chaos Marines. THIS RIGHT HERE delivers so much justice for us people that have grown tired of the modern day vanilla stuff and the stupid memes. I could go on about every scene and how it digs into the soul and makes you feel uncomfortable. This is a situation where the good guys aren't going to win and everything is not going to be alright. The one scene where the World Eater enters that guy's cell is intimidating as fuck. Props to that guy for having the balls to stand up to him. That is how you respectfully showcase a guardsman's bravery without taking anything away from the marine. Then we see the woman from the first trailer with her baby and they're both corrupted by being on that chaos ship with no Gellar field up. We see a botched teleportation with is rarely ever mentioned anymore. We see these warp horrors just materializing in and out of the ship as the traitor marines carelessly ignore them. That shit right there is real Chaos and I deeply appreciate this accurate and detailed depiction of it. I imagine it will be another year or so before the next part, but I sincerely thank you for all your hard work in making this Mark.
The one thing that confused me - note that I say "confused", it's not that I didn't like it - is the narrative. I mean... I'm not too sure where this vessel is going, I'm not too sure who these Ultramarines at the end (who appear to be free somehow) are, the Eldar, err, I mean the Eldar looks extremely nice but what is this banshee doing here? As for the rest, I don't know man, my English isn't good enough to find the proper words but I'll go for awesome, astonishing, crazy, mind-blowing and then some. What makes me kinda sad is that GW will never step up and produce something of this quality, seeing how their "meh, good enough" approach to things.
you gotta pick up the pieces a bit. WE and WB invaded a planet. Sathus(I think). Took prisoners. Went to the warp. Executing the marines and scouts by gladiatorial combat. The dark mech tech priest has found a sensor breach and reported it to the captain(sergeant idk). Later the WB are killing ultramarines and taking their armor to wear. We find out that the WB plan on invading another world, by disguising themselves as Ultramarines and then betraying the true UM once they breach into the next world. Finnaly we find out that a group of UM have sneaked on board the ship for some reason. Find out next time on Dragon Ba....Sorry I mean Death of Hope part 2
I guess it refer to a novel story, so without the novel we can only guesss. The word bearer seem to want to infiltrate as ultramarine survivors to spread terror and add to the distrust within the rank of the defenders of ultramar.
Firstly, it might help you if you watch the first two trailers leading in to this...But your Eldar comment.. obviously a prisoner like all the rest.. the Banshee is in a holding cell... doesn't matter how or why
Myself as well. Absolutely awesome! I can't speak for any newer terminator models but I'm pretty sure that @Mark Louis Spark modelled this terminator after the Original 410609 Terminator Marine designed by Jes Goodwin and Bob Naismith from Rogue Trader days. Then Added a healthy dash of awesome to that.
Respect. You most certainly got the look and atmosphere right. Outstanding! Everyone feeling sorry for the woman and her baby, I gotta say, that Eldar is who i felt most concerned for. We all know what happens to a naked soul in the Warp.
Strike Striker You seem to have mixed up the term “baby” and “mutant”. The former is a cute little human that could grow up to be a loyal imperial servant. The latter, as I suspect is what is shown in the video, is on the same level as Xenos.
This was badass. It shows what Chaos really is in the Warhammer 40K. It is a dark, mind twisting, and unnatural force that corrupts all it touches. It is not some evil force like in other sci-fi stories. It is a dark mix of the madness, over worldly evil, and limitless power you see from something in a Lovecraft book with the mix of a sci-fi faction that can honestly destroy the whole galaxy but has so many layers and layers of why people align with chaos and how they act within it. This is the Grim-Dark a lot of people have wanted and it shows a good image of what Warhammer 40K is in general. It has its interesting moments but is in total a very dangerous and dark universe that twists the mind and is constant war and suffering every being within it cannot avoid. This is what the Fans love. Keep up the work Mister Spark. Cant wait until Part 2.
Have you considered kickstarter for any large future projects? 40k is severly lacking in any cinema and there is an audience willing to get behind practically anything new
In my opinion, nothing will grow the fandom and support of Warhammer 40K more than movies like yours and Astartes. You have done more to bring this universe to life for both existing fans and people who are unfamiliar with the game than anything else. I can't imagine how much time it took you to craft all this and your previous movies, but know this: It is appreciated, by WH40K fans everywhere. Thank you.
Magnificent. The animation is plenty good enough and adds to the mood but the design is fucking phenomenal - probably the purest representation I have ever seen outside of the best dioramas and models. So many little touches it is oozing with twisted gothic atmosphere and warp juice. This is the warhammer that I signed up for. The grimmer, darker kind. Doesn't have to be chaos insanity with sorcerors and daemons - there is loads of other stuff they could be writing about but it is the aesthetic and feel that is important. Anything other than the imperium as bona fide good guys and the endless superhero stories we get in 9 out of 10 of the books.
This is hands down the best depiction of warhammer 40k (I guess 30k here) and chaos on the internet, period. It’s absolutely sanity blasting to me that one person did all this, the detail is exquisite and the storytelling is refreshingly unique - those warp beings and the spookiness combined with the authority in the chaos space marines strides and the brutality of the fighting pits… incredible. I’m shocked anyone would criticize such a masterpiece, I hope Mark makes more of these one day, but does so at his own pace and takes his time. Why games workshop wouldn’t hire this man to make epic cgi stories like this full time is beyond me
Also in case anyone is confused on the storyline, it looks like the world eaters are going to wear the ultramarines armor to commit atrocities and get them forever blamed by their legion
Aaaaand that's why you don't enter the warp without a Gellar Field. But jokes aside, the representation of the warp was amazing in this. Including the... "blessings".
To those new parents, it doesn't change. I have teenagers and you can still relate to the feels. It's hardcore dark. Such excellent and important work delivered here.
Literally every frame is a work of art. The character models are intense my dude. So much detail. Thank you for all your efforts. The voice acting and music and ambient sounds are intense. So well done.
It's funny how people like chaos so much. It's like they think the would actually benefit from it in any shape or form. You'll be playthings and snacks for powers beyond you. You give everything and gain nothing.
Been a long time fan of this project. When frends, family and coworkers ask if Im into horror, I tell them Im more into Grimdark and Cosmic Horror. Not the trifling, popular things they are exposed to. A few of them I have shown this animation as to non-verbally explain what I mean, and they all shudder at the knowledge as to why I think their interests in "horror" is mundane. My mind, and the minds of those who are fans of this universe we call Warhammer are on a whole other level than mainstream "horror". And I remind them of that fact every time they want to watch some Hollywood bs with me.

*1. corpses on the outside of the ship are stuck there due to astartes magboots, giving a glimpse of the previous boarding assault fight on the hull.*
*2. marines in floors and walls are due to either a blind, rushed, or warp interferenced teleport assault attempt.*
-both of these make it seems like the fight was a last ditch effort assault just so they could potentially get a few men on board to sabotage or to break out and warn the next planet where ever they exit the warp from.
*3. blipping demons, old school bloodletter, and mutated mother/child are because there is no gellar field on while they're warp traveling (makes sense given they're wordbearers)*
*4. dark mechanicus guy says there's an intruder messing around with the ship: either a surviving ultramarine or maybe that nightlord astartes perched over the pit (could be loyalist).*
-more than likely the first since the guy in the cell asks the ultramarine if he's recovered after he finds out they're close to the next planet/about to exit warp, as if ready to spring their own plan.
*5. torso ultramarine over pit is probably the captured captain from part 2 that welcomed wordbearers onto planet; now being forced to watch his captured brothers fight/die in the pit.*
-he has his imperial laurel nailed to his head, probably in mockery , and the ultramarine in the pit is wearing his while fighting with two "Macragge" ultramarine signature axes
*6. normal guy in cell is probably a captured ultramarine initiate based on his shoulder armor and dialogue with the world eater; "aspire to become one with the 13th legion".*
- also says he doesn't need to be modified to go toe to toe with the world eater, referring to either the gene seed needed to become an astartes or the butchers nails.
*7. same guy recognizes the ultramarine walking with the wordbearers and is in disbelief; astarte in next cell tells him its a wordbearer that's just wearing his armor; "a lie".*
-at the end, you can see both the imprisoned astartes armor being worn by the wordbears and Nakal, as shells that they will "march onto the streets of neighboring worlds"

Ok I knew something was going on with the ultra marines look because I was having a hard time figuring out who and who weren’t chaos afflicted.
While I do enjoy the modern 40k armor designs for space marines, I personally prefer the Great Crusade/Horus Heresy era designs more.

The Dark Mech looking all bizarre! All of the layers & details on the Marine armor that are all still recognizable marks & models! The wild uniforms & gear on the baseline humans! The strange bone biomech Eldar! Just... Grim-dark perfection. Going to watch it five more times then start building some Dark Angel Legionnaires...
Two scenes that stuck on me, first the cultist /daemon glitching and teleporting when the Word Bearers passed by. It really captures that warp fuckery shenanigan's from what the lore said. Second, the woman and her dead baby. What really sells is that she's desperately screaming at her child calling it a bastard knowing her descent to madness. Quite bleak and hopeless for her, I mean that's what grimdark is right??
@@arismafiamafiaiskandar5145 That's exactly what stayed on my mind as well. Just the presence of the Daemons on the ship was... intimidating and then again not.
@@khorneberserker It reminds me, how the Word Bearers and world eaters are completely fine knowing that the warp can effect someone minds. I guess they got the blessing from the chaos gods right?? While the woman and her child are infected.
@@arismafiamafiaiskandar5145 That with the side note that the Word Bearers and World Eaters just gave in to their urges (Religeous zeal and bloodlust). They are Chaos as the Ultimate freedom.
This video is the only Warhammer video that does the Warp and the sheer brutality of the 30k-40k universe justice.

They murdered those Ultramarines for their battleplates to Wear, to add to the confusion and terror when attacking another loyalist World.
^^^^, classic Word Bearer tactic. Or Alpha legion?...……..we are Alpharious
you gotta pick up the pieces a bit.

Man never have I thought that a day will come when I will feel anything for the Ultramarines... This is just brilliant
mourn what GW made him delete

The scene with the woman and her baby was retty brutal, and as a new father, hard to watch... It's so grimdark, love it!
Please continue :)
I had the same thought (my first is 11 months) but it was certainly true to chaos
same here, I watched it when my baby boy was 1 month old it really ripped at my emotions. Every second of the movie! Wow!
Same here
Literally every frame is a work of art. The character models are intense my dude. So much detail. Thank you for all your efforts. The voice acting and music and ambient sounds are intense. So well done.
But I would cleanse 500 worlds
And would do it 500 more
Just to be the man who cleanse a thousand worlds the emporor would bless me more
First time i saw this i was blown away. i still have come time to time to watch this. probably most epic short movie in YT!
Heresy lies in those dislikes.
was wondering about those
Kids with no clue mate
It's funny how people like chaos so much. It's like they think the would actually benefit from it in any shape or form. You'll be playthings and snacks for powers beyond you. You give everything and gain nothing.
I like the 30k traitor stuff. World eaters are for me. In truth, it may not look it but am an Ultramarines fan XD
@@marklouisspark and for once you made those poor bastards likeable 😉
@@marklouisspark Apart from Ward furking them up, they are one of the more interesting and nuanced chapters.
If you EVER wondered why the inquisition exists ... it's for them.
Or.... just maybe...
-I believe that... the Emperor...
+Protects.... that remains to be seen.

Wessex that lines hits so hard
Been a long time fan of this project. When frends, family and coworkers ask if Im into horror, I tell them Im more into Grimdark and Cosmic Horror. Not the trifling, popular things they are exposed to. A few of them I have shown this animation as to non-verbally explain what I mean, and they all shudder at the knowledge as to why I think their interests in "horror" is mundane. My mind, and the minds of those who are fans of this universe we call Warhammer are on a whole other level than mainstream "horror". And I remind them of that fact every time they want to watch some Hollywood bs with me.
