Apparently this will also cut strand and guy wire for utility work. Hopefully this $200 cutter works better than their $2000 cutters rated for guy wire, cause those suck.

If you have a bandsaw, saw saw, or hacksaw, you don't need this lol. Now if this device actually threaded rod, that would be pretty cool.

I was just on a job where I had no vice so I couldn’t use a saw to cut my rod. I have a manual rod cutter, but you have to deburr the rod and it’s annoying. This would of been perfect as they are claiming no deburring neeeded

Now you need a hollow socket. Maybe 12 or 16".

does it get stuck when the other side of the nut hits the tread . will be need to use some type of wrench to make it pass that section ?

Na at worst you got grab a pair of pliers and remove a thin bit of waste cut. Doesnt effect the threading of a nut at all.

I'll just keep using band saws. LOL this takes too much time to set up... plus you can cut 20 at a time using a tripod and a bandsaw

End up having to cut the little nubs off sometimes with bandsaw. That's why I use.

Long sleeve shirt, leather gloves, eye protection and ear protection, talk about safety. I wonder what you do when working with a dangerous tool.😁

Thanks, I was wondering if this would be a good tool to invest in, after your video I can see the time savings. Thanks.
