      Hello 🙋🏻‍♂️ Thank You it was Delicious. Yes it’s a 2,5kg leg and cooking time varies from 3-4 hours . We use the thermometer 🌡️ to check for when it’s done . I prefer cooking it slowly . Thank You for watching and Commenting 👌

      Thanks for info.. I'm making this for my family tomorrow. I guess you put the potatoes 🥔 in the gravy for the last 70 minutes of cooking?

      @@andriolafsson897 oh great please let me know how it went . Yes the potatoes 🥔 can take between 30 - 45 minutes with a hot fire 🔥 a medium fire heat will be 70 minutes and just check if they are soft on the inside by poking them before taking them off .

    A line of people waiting outside a barber is the definition of bbq.

    I really recommend you get some genuine Weber tongs. Grippy and perfectly tensioned. Those slippery silicone tongs are of the devil!! Btw, great recipe demo.

    So you are aiming to keep just below 200 but for how long roughly?
    I guess until the internal reaches 65?

    • @Redrockat
      @Redrockat  2 года назад +2

      Yes that is correct , it is important not to rush it . Total time cooking is between 3-4 hours . But it is totally worth it because the meat remains juicy and has sooo much flavour. In the last 45-60 minutes is when we put the veggies in the pan . Also every now and then keep on adding some medium for the fire to keep it going .

      You are going to slow roast it nice and steady at between 3-4 hours then it will come out perfect. We love cooking for such a long time because it makes for a very nice social meet .
