Ive been subbed to you for a couple years. Today, you came up on my feed again as I typically take a summer youtube break. Dang it Abby, you are one of the best youtubers out there. From your vivid appearance and demeanour, to the the music, content, editing and production value; its just so easy to see the quality of your work. I cant think of a content creator, Ive stayed engaged with longer Abby.!
I would love to! I have so much imposter syndrome talking about personal finance for some reason just because I know everyone does everything differently 🥲 but maybe I could structure it like a Q&A / share what we do as a sort of blue print rather than it being purely instructional??
You are my fav influencer! I’m a medical student so I love to see someone who is more real and i love watching your videos. Also for the blueberry latte, i would add some simple syrup (half hot water half white sugar). I used to be a barista :)
I do the same with the precut kits. I agree it's still cheaper, cleaner and healthier than eating out but minimal effort to prepare! Tbh with all the price hikes and continued staff shortages impacting quality and service, eating out isn't as fun as it used to be
I could honestly see you teaching, doing personal training or even social media part time for other companies! This is such a good time to work on stuff like certifications or applying to different things! I love the job updates! Side note: would LOVE a finance 101 short form series!
It really is!!! And I’ll have to brainstorm some ways to do personal finance content. And I def think all those are possibilities job wise, it’s been such a waiting game to see what shakes out but I’m thinking there will be some changes soon!!
As someone extremely living paycheck to paycheck to paycheck one day I cannot wait to be like you financially, im 26 and look up to you so much in that aspect. Its hard out here 😭
That is so sweet! I totally hear you, it definitely is hard right now. I was def doing better financially at other times in my life than I am now but am just so thankful to have our needs covered at the end of the day. Sending you love & you will get there! It takes so much time & discipline :’) I was soooo broke in college and youtube changed my life & I feel like my major kinda forced me to learn to be financially responsible (thankfully) or idk if I’d be where I am now. Appreciate you!
I'm so sorry I'm cackling about the tires because y'all seriously cannot catch a break. also I need to make that kale pasta salad ASAP, it looks soooo good
I loveeeee fourth and nomad & Emerson rose. I had no idea until recently that Emerson rose had a clothing store right across the street either?! Both were vital for updating my wardrobe for my trip to Portugal 😅
Oh girl preach 😂 my husband and I feel the same way lol, for the last couple of months there has been one unexpected expense after another. Hoping we can all get a break soon 😅
The God of the Woods was SO GOOD. I had a hard time getting in to it because there were so many characters and the time line kept changing, but the ending was everything and I ended up loving it!
Made blueberry syrup for my latte last month and was disappointed too! I think the flavor is more subtle than the syrups we are used to these days. The jar of syrup is still sitting in my fridge 😬😭
You should try the seasonal blueberry syrup from BlendIn off of Waugh! The barista recommended it to me and it was phenomenal: iced oat milk latte with blueberry and vanilla syrup
OMG i had it last year and the year before but not this year, you just reminded me it existed 😭 I used to live 10 mins away from it and would go way more often than I do now. It is so good ahhh
what are the mosquito incense that you use? mine are really bad in my backyard, i get my yard treated and it doesn’t even touch them so i need something to light while im outside that works lol
Hopefully you get some brand deals or find a full time job that works for you better than what you used to do. I also feel the tiredness a day later and not right after I get less sleep.
I know you mentioned you have different buckets for your sinking funds but is it one savings account that includes all the buckets or is it multiple savings accounts? My husband and I are currently rebuilding our savings from our wedding last year and the month and a half that he was off for school, but I've been wanting to set up sinking funds for a while now and he said he doesn't understand the point because if we needed the money we would just pull from the savings account and not specific buckets. Also I would love to hear what sinking funds you have! Love watching your videos!!
Just got to the point about your tires and same! My husband just found out that he needs new brakes and rotors so that should be a big expense. Gotta love being an adult.
It’s one savings account! I really like doing it because the categories just make your money super clear. I have my emergency fund category, I’m about to move overseas so I have a visa category, a plane ticket category, and then some fun ones like wedding and wardrobe. It’s just nice to stay separated and know what you can spend on specific things. At the end of the day you could just have it all together. But it is nice how Abby uses it for gifts, you save a little each month and then at Christmas or whenever you need to buy someone a gift you already have the money set aside. My husband is the same as yours. He doesn’t see the point, just depends on your organization preference!
Ditto to what claire said ^! It really just organizes what you have but I see both perspectives. I’m much more motivated and diligent about saving if I have it split up and specified savings goals and can visually see it rather than just one lump sum amount. Appreciate your support 💙
I was thinking of opening a high -yield savings with them since it seems like no brick and mortar banks have them. Do you have a referral code for a savings account?
@@hellofellowkids9740 WAIT I literally just got an email with a referral link offer, how odd lol!! If you want to sign up, here it is ally.com/referral?code=3C7V8R5X9H
loved the video!! i just finished a book i think you might love - it’s called The Love of my Afterlife by Kirsty Greenwood. it’s a cute little romance novel with a twist!! 10/10 read 💖

Yessss I wholeheartedly agree. I used to never really regret spending $ eating out but I say I’m disappointed in some way like 75% of the time now 😂
I could honestly see you teaching, doing personal training or even social media part time for other companies! This is such a good time to work on stuff like certifications or applying to different things! I love the job updates! Side note: would LOVE a finance 101 short form series!

I used SOFI and they had savings vaults. I had to switch banks though and my new bank doesn’t have the option :(

I have Ally Bank and it’s so slept on!! Every time I say that’s my bank people are like what is that lol?
I was thinking of opening a high -yield savings with them since it seems like no brick and mortar banks have them. Do you have a referral code for a savings account?
Yesss it’s so good! And I don’t have a referral code unfortunately, I just checked my app and I don’t see anything for referrals in it :(
