  • These packages were available for pre-purchase this spring from Jill Wiseman's shop, but aren't available for purchase any longer. In this video I'll be opening mine, sorting them into an organizer & then making a double-strand bracelet with some of the shaped beads and some of the firepolish beads.
I did remake this bracelet after the video and added 2 of the 3mm beads to each end of each strand to get enough length for this clasp to close.

I feel ya on the toggle issue. Great beads! The aqua/cherry is totally blue raspberry/cherry slushy. The white flower beads look like meringue clouds. Still loving the Pride nails.

Lovely selection of beads Jill picked out! Beautiful beacelet as well! I usually make my bracelets too long.😆 While I absolutely love toggles, since I sell my items, I usually just go for a lobster with extender chain. Happy re-beading! 🙂

Lobster + extended is the best way to make sure it'll fit multiple wrists! The restringing didn't take too long and it's perfect now that it's done.

Awww, hate it when that happens. I feel like this is the bracelet Rainbow Bright wears when she grows up. And the exact right nails!

Is there a video that lists in the description ALL of your bead subscriptions? We are almost at the point where I can now change my address and would like to start ordering my own.

I haven't made a bead subscription comparison video yet, but I can break it down for you a little here:
      - Bargain Bead Box - Affordable, beautifully curated, and contains a lot of high-quality options. If I could only subscribe to one bead box, that would be it. It is the best value-for-money subscription IMO.
      - Curated Bead Box - One of the more frugal boxes, usually get longer strands of mostly glass beads with different sizes, but similar finishes from box to box. A good option for a beginner beader or someone looking to build out their stash.
      - Dollar Bead Box - also affordable. You get mostly czech glass beads in this subscription. A variety of beads in each box, but not a lot of them.
      - Gemstone Orphanage - This one costs a little bit more, but is a bi-monthly sub & you get a really pretty gemstone pendant and a box jam packed with extra beads and findings to go with it. IMO also a good value for money since they put in so many beads and extras.
      - JJB Magical Mystery Bead Box - what JJB does well is create a whole experience or tell a story with beads, this box will have bead mixes, findings, and focals that go along with a theme. There's usually more variety of beads, but less quantity of each. You do get some incredibly unique items in these boxes though. It is on the higher price side of the spectrum.
      - Sam's Bead Box - Probably one of the higher priced subscription boxes, but always packed with thoughtfully curated gemstones and Czech glass beads, with findings and focals. A lot of the beads are custom orders specifically for their box. Add-ons are usually also available to accompany the box but are purchased after you receive it so you may not get your extras until 2 weeks after you get your box.
      - Potomac Beads Treasure box - a selection of Czech glass, shaped beads, seed beads, findings. Usually includes a tool and a stringing material (beading thread, beading wire, waxed linen cord, or stretch cord)
      - Potomac Beads Kit edition - 3 complete beading kits with patterns. Usually are bead weaving kits, but have in the past also been some bead embroidery kits, stringing kits, and wire working kits. In all cases, you get more than enough beads to complete the project & all materials needed except for tools. Beading needles and thread are included in the kits for bead weaving projects. A bit on the pricey side, but less expensive than buying each kit individually.
      - Adornable Elements - they offer several beads of the month clubs, and I get the seed bead and 2-hole beads clubs. You get 8 selections of 11/0 seed beads in that club, and 8 selections of 2-hole beads in the other. They are priced about the middle of the pack.
      - Curated Collections by Beads to Live By - there are 2 subscriptions available there: a seed bead subscription where you get 8 selections of seed beads, but they are 2 selections each of 15/0, 11/0, 8/0, and 6/0 seed beads. There's also a 2-hole beads selection which gets you 5 selections of 2-hole beads. Also about mid-pack price wise. There are usually also add-on czech glass bundles selected to coordinate with the collections that can be purchased from their shop.
      - Softflex design kits - NOT a subscription, but they release a new kit every month and I love their kits so much I try to make sure I get one when a new one is released. They come with a selection of beads, focals, and findings. A full spool of beading wire, crimps, and custom JJB bead box in each kit. There's usually also an accompanying JJB bead strand that can be purchased as well. Price is about mid-range, but worth it IMO.
I think that's most of the ones I get. Some of them are either provided to me in exchange for my creating content using them or discounted for the same reason. The rest I pay for myself.
