As a Chelsea fan, to me the issue seems to be that Ange wasn’t back appropriately in the summer and this is a repetitive cycle with Levy. Arsenal did not play well at all but you guys just don’t have the cutting edge to threaten the big boys.
Spurs have spent £393m since he took over in the summer of 2022/23. And Spurs have the highest negative net spend in that time. He’s been backed more than any previous Spurs manager.
As a Villa fan and big up to you Haz. I dont think everything is on Ange. When you think of it, you had a very poor window. Your sporting director was our former one. Johan Lange. He's a terrible scouter and negotiator, some of the players he gave you, you didnt need at all. Hes one of the main reasons we got into psr trouble during the summer.
The fact Solanke and Johnson are both over 110m combined is disgraceful business for me when you had better options out there.
I wanted Spurs to win yesterday as I just never liked Arsenal or their manager.

@@BashnCash I don’t know much about Lange but I know a lot about Levy and this is year 23 of this shambles. We NEVER identify proven quality and go get them. We always end up with one marquee signing and then lots of ‘prospects’ and this summers window was no different.
Ange has a lot to answer for because we needed Dragusin’s height and aerial prowess to nullify the set pieces, but Flange WONT adapt to fit him in! A one dimensional manager is easy to prepare against and beat. Simple
@savcap1 No I get what you mean. The reason I say Lange is also part of the problem is because when he was our dof he brought in Leanardo Dendoncker with the wages of 90k a week, brought in Callum Chambers, Robin Olsen, loaned Bednarek, Augustinson from Sevilla on loan, and a finished Coutinho who he gave 330k a week which was a joke. Okay you can argue he gave us worse but his scouting network team and negotiation wise he's a terrible dof.
Yes you can also say Levy is also a problem I've heard people say he was one of the problems behind not being able to buy the bigger and better options to save money which is disgraceful.
Ange for me also isnt improfing what he said he would. Set pieces still lacking 2nd season in a row which isnt good news. You should go to a back 3 with Dragusin.
